I am considering getting an elm tree but I have close to 50 trees already🤫. I had the same thoughts about that bottom branch, ‘traditionally’ branches on the inside of a curve are not kept because they take away from the aesthetic of the curve movement and just look out of place. It’s a tough one because there are no lower branches. For the future of the tree though…✂️
wow yes you have quite a bit of trees hah is hard to maintain trees at times, but yes that is why i have not removed it, maybe now that i will be trimming the top hard i might get lower buds and meanwhile keep it as sacrifice branch, we shall see @@DavidSmith-yk6li
