That’s what I’m hearing. New to me, so that’s where I’m going to start chucking it. Plus I think that area of Carlsbad is overfished and too crowded. Need to head north or south of that exact area.
Lucky Craft for the win??? 🏆 I think I was first to comment even before watching 🤣🍻….try the LC in the surf, on that side of the lagoon it’s drop shot or Carolina rigs with Texas rigged bait…please trust….bait anything white to chartreuse….otherwise try live bait and wait…definitely enjoy your videos 🤙🏼
Word! Thanks! So riddle me this… I keep seeing dudes use the LC in the lagoons and pulling up Hali. What am I doing wrong? Is it just hours upon hours of trying for one fish? New to the LC game. I’ll head to the surf with it too. 🤙🏼. I really appreciate the advice. I’m waaaaaay better at fly fishing 😂
@@myotherlinefishing nothing really, that’s why it’s fishing not catching 🤣…I’ve had better luck with the jerk bait in the surf, I think it is because of the constant movement of the water and the correct depth. If you cast something long enough it’s bound to land something….I’d be lost trying to fly fish 🤣
@@myotherlinefishing also check out castnreel who has great advice off jetties and surf all baits and techniques also Japanese angler Waki…both on RUclips
@@addicted2fishing119 fly fishing is crazy fun. Hard as shit at first but a blast after the first hour. Give it a shot. You’ll thank me after you land your first fish on it.
Not really 😂. But thanks! I need to get back in my comfort zone on a kayak and head to the kelp. I’m getting sick of catching dinks from shore these days.
you'd have more luck using live ghost shrimp, i know it's back breaking pumping them out, but you're more likely to catch fish quicker, most of the time, that jetty spot where you are at has Sargo, and hali's! btw I salt my squid, and shrimp with coarse kosher salt in small plastic container over night, and use the bait to catch yellow fin croakers, bait stays on hooks longer, and bait still retains it's scent
Thanks bud. Looking for bigger fish now lol. This weekend I’m headed to Lake Cuyamaca, tough frickin place to fish this time of year… might make a vid… haven’t decided. Otherwise it’s back to the surf, mountains or maybe kayak to deeper waters. 🤷🏼♂️
Never have but it’s worth a shot. Shore and surf fishing I’m not that good at. I’m used to fly fishing in the mountains or heading out on a kayak to the kelp beds. Still learning the lagoon and surf game.
Caught two of those just yesterday buddy and it was my first time fishing. along with my 6 year old son Jax 👍🏼 used some artificial camo sand worms they work amazing I really recommend them and good for surf fishing too
LC SURF POINTER 💯🚀
