so many great bands that never made it big cos most people are brainwashed by the crap music that tops the charts since forever and dont give anything else a chance. alternative music is mostly damned in that aspect since around two decades. so many amazing genres like trip hop, dance punk, shoegaze, math rock, etc, etc, that will never reach the level of succces they deserve, meanwhile the masses obsess about reggaeton and mumble rap . is really sad.
This is the situations several bands had to bear; you were willing to put on a band, you started recording an album and you triggeredyour debut tour! Unluckily so many ones had to withdraw because the earning was tiny or disappointing. You only could try foreseeing a continuation but your mates could have the real intention to quit that short adventure and to look for some other paths! I personally prefer listening to the indie bands because they depict that figure of naivety and personality; they don't have any wickedness or aim of profit! Achieving recongition doesn't necessarily side with income or akin benefit, it just means that you stand out your abilities. Anyhow the comparison between this band and Placebo doesn't scare me off, it'd be funny and worthwhile to gain both bands performing on the same stage sincerely. To be fair this is a gift received by some alternative channels, as Yos and Flux, and when I look back at 2006 my heart shrinks because that magical journey meant to be longer and more concrete.I truly believe that we were given the opportunity to pick the decent music and to embrace a flow of masterpieces.

Saw them on their tour in Australia where they supported NIN, but they headlined in a dingy club in Sydney where the sound was crap but they still were great to watch. Good bands will stand the test in any environment & WRM were one of those, sorry that they called it a day.
