Nice video, man! I only knew a few of these! An underrated one: Night Slayers. You go around beating up zombies, Frankenstein's monsters, werewolves and stuff! Play the japanese version tho because the international one is very censored. I love the kung-fu monk who melts the zombies with a cross.
yknow what's wild I'm actually working on a beat em up game so this list came really really in handy for more inspiration and things I could learn from
Hey, glad if this video helps you find inspiration man. If you want to discuss more, we can talk on my Discord server. A lot of discussions about retro games there.
Great list.... there are a few games on here Ive never heard of. Banepresto made a lot of good Japan only beat em ups ...ever try Denjin Maki 2? Keep up the gr8 vids homie I liked and subbed 🥸👍
I totally agree with the streets of rage remake game. I love how the in game store bring replay value to the game where the more ypu play the more money you earn and in turn the more cheats and unlocable character you can purchase. I think other games should incorporate this system. One of the most amazing fan game ever
I have not played enough of that game. But from what I've played so far, it seems good. I like the fact that it was made by the same developers as Tekken. The gameplay somehow reminded me of Yakuza.
Hi there Paul. Thanks for watching my video. Sorry, but there is no physical copy for SOR Remake. You can download it for free though. Here's the link sorr.forumotion.net/t838-new-streets-of-rage-remake-v5-2-download-and-info
Tnmt its been developed by Tribute, Dotemu is just the publisher of both, street of rage and TMNT, but they are from diferent developers. Tribute developed Scott Pilgrimm, a other grst Beat em Up, and the same team developed TMNT game for Gameboy avance years ago, for Ubisoft
Ah, thank you for the correction. I did do a little digging about what you said, and turns out TMNT is indeed developed by Tribute. Dotemu is only the publisher. However, Dotemu did develop Streets of Rage 4 with two other studios, Guard Crush Games and Lizardcube.
I’ve been looking for a 2d side scroll beat em up game. Two player, one is a guy with goggles, and the other is blonde and looks like roll from Megaman, I can’t ever think of the name, and played it in an arcade in McDonald’s once
I think I know what game you are referring to. It's called Guardians (Denjin Makai II in Japan). Here is the video: ruclips.net/video/mn3xLSz_YpY/видео.html
@@Profar26 no you can play it on pc too I actually like that it's playable on mobile as well though, it's honestly much more difficult to get remake working on mobile.
this list was kind of lame. Streets Remake is far from underrated. Only that game and Power Rangers were of interest. Did not like the others at all. Sorry mate.
Nekketsu Oyako is great, not sure if you ever played that. Guardian Heroes is my favorite beat em up of all time. Good list of games.
Very informative video as always!

I'll go check them out bro. Thanks for the recommendation.

The Dragon Ball game looks amazing! Thank you for indication. One more follower here.
Hi Andreh, thanks for the sub. Really appreciate it.
here in brazil power rangers was a succes
What are your thoughts on "Urban Reign "? Not a traditional "Beat'em up" but not a traditional "Fighting game " either 🤔
I have not played enough of that game. But from what I've played so far, it seems good. I like the fact that it was made by the same developers as Tekken. The gameplay somehow reminded me of Yakuza.
Hi thanks for the video. Is there a way to get a physical copy of SoR Remake ?

Kasumi, what are you doing in this game?!
You're supposed to be in Dead Or Alive!

Wooow.
🤣😂
I love power rangers the movie. It's short and simple but the combat feels good. too easy to grab tho.

LOL Gamespot reviewers are beyond noobies.
I mean these are the same people, who said Battle for Bikini Bottom is too hard. Lol.
Too bad Streets of Rage remake is only for the PC.
Yeah, such a shame indeed.
and PSvita
SOR4 dev dont know how to make good and challenging enemies, so they just add super armor and weird movement. Pure lazy, boring and disgusting
Streets of rage remake has been superceded by streets of rage 2x the fighting system feels so much better than remake
I haven't tried SOR 2X. I've heard good things about that game. I'll be the judge of that when I play it eventually. I heard it's only on mobile.
@@Profar26 no you can play it on pc too I actually like that it's playable on mobile as well though, it's honestly much more difficult to get remake working on mobile.
Oh I see. Better get playing then. :)
Too bad SW5 sucks.
