It's a nice habit of mine to watch you and some other bartender / mixology youtubers when im not at the bar myself working! xD seems like i love my work alot since i don't seem able to leave it alone!
I think every guy, including myself, wanted to be a bartender at some point. Never happened for me, but it's fun to watch. And this looks like Vancouver to, so close to home.
Nice! Through covid I discovered I have a great talent at making drinks..somehow it just makes sense to me. Like I can sit there for a few minutes and think of a type of drink I want to create and can go through the ingredients in my head and then go and make the drink with the specific ratios. My wife says I spoiled her now because every time we go to a restaurant, all the drinks taste "meh" compared to mine haha. I work a very physical demanding job and have always had a job like that but am looking into maybe being a bartender so your videos have helped me understand the lifestyle more! I have always had a passion for art and have been good at it and somehow when I make fancy drinks, it feels like I'm creating an art piece, so maybe I can land a job making good tasting AND good looking drinks because I don't want to be just slinging drinks with pre-made mixers all day lol. I guess I'm an artist at heart and making drinks is an extention of that so maybe I can transition into a different job without too many difficulties!
No training needed really in most places..just need to have knowledge about basic cocktails and be able to work fast and move around a lot! Higher end restaurants and bars will want more training
@@fatboyrio8868 no you don’t need schooling, just experience…out here there are many different levels of bars..some you don’t need much experience because the drinks are very simple…but other nice lounges and bars you will need to have more knowledge
hey! i loved the video! i’m a bartender myself and want to get into making videos, and with working a lot id love to start doing “day in my life of being a bartender” since i’m there 90% of the time😭 how did you go about filming? was it awkward with the customers? thanks and great video :)
Thanks for the watching 🍸🤎 The filming is easy, just used my iPhone and propped the camera up on counters using glasses etc. really easy to do and the ppl that didn’t want to be on camera I just point the camera in the other direction, defs make vids! Can be the next to blow up on YT or TikTok
