Two weeks after I passed the PMP and updated my resume, I had a job offer! So I say yes it does! I have lots of experience as a PM, but that PMP added the credential I needed to get the job I really wanted!
Yes on PMI website, while submitting your application u have to write whole passage about your project undertaken ,and your 35 hours PDU classes proof as well, @@graymatters2
I loved using your udemy course to prepare. I passed my exam last month 🎉. It has given me more confidence but I need actual work experience and projects to give me more leverage
Just going through your course, its absolutely correct, need to actually understand content and then apply for jobs with skills you learned through the exam.
Fully agreed. ARs timely content make everyone to stay aligned in our path without any distractions. Both skill and certification is related. They go hand in hand. While the certificate is the entry ticket, it is the skill that is going to come a long way 👍
I got my PMP a year ago, thanks to Andrew. I did get a job after 8 months of doing it. It adds value to your resume, but having skills to crack interview is important
Agreed! Having the PMP certification is only part of the puzzle. Too many people are studying for the exam just to take it, pass it, and get the certification so they can add it to their resume, but won't use it to its full potential purpose. It takes the added skills and experience to actually get the job. Getting the certification just to get it, devalues it for those of us project management professionals who get the certification to continue our education and skill development as actual Project Managers. It's frustrating when I hear that people are obtaining the certification without the intention to actually use it.
I recently applied for a job that requires a PMP or equivalent certification. I submitted certificates from five out of six courses I completed in the Google Project Management Specialization on Coursera. I believe that my experience, supplemented by these certificates, compensates for the absence of a PMP certification. However, to ensure this isn't a barrier to future opportunities, I've decided to pursue the PMP certification in April/May of 2024. Wish me luck, fingers crossed!
How did you like the Google PM cert? After researching multiple job postings (Tesla, HBO, Warner Brothers) and saw they did not require a PMP, but a PM cert, I chose Google. I absolutely loved the Google interactive cert courses.
@@angie7164 Yes, I like the course structure and its organization. It offers a valuable insight into project management and the role of a project manager in any company. However, in the end, practical experience, along with the industry standard for project management - PMP certification - will definitely go a long way in advancing your career in the domain of your choice.
@@teddytariku I loved learning how "Google" works their products. Sadly, I took the class and got my projects approves and let it expire before I took the exam. Still reconsidering it
I agree you need both certifications and skills. However, I have both and have applied to 100s of jobs with no success. Of note is that I'm trying to pivot into a different industry.
Very much agree, I took 3,4 months in studying then took exam on 22 jan,and passed PMP ,it means i know so many stuff related to conflict resolution, issue log ,risk mangmnt etc ,i did not passed just by reading mind set .... i watched your udemy video 2,3 times.
@@kiwifrenchie6036 I took just 2 full test simulator from PMI websites ...study hall essential and TIA simulator of 45$ consist of 6 test of 60 questions each....
Thank you for your honesty. So many others would go with the hard sell - do my course, get the. Cert and you're guaranteed to get a raise/job etc. Btw there's a lot of talk about getting a PMP without experience.. But isn't experience a core requirement of the application?
i bought your book last week. i have one question. is the content bit different to online course given with the book and the course in udemy. as the content list is slightly different in both ?
Should I give PMP or CAPM exam. PLEASE suggest me bcoz I have 6 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering. Where 2 year of experience as a project Engineer.
I have scheduled my PMP exam for February 26. I will like to purchase the exam simulator. I hope the one in udemy is the most recent one @@AndrewRamdayal
Did my paper today and passed thanks to you and the pmp exam simulator form TIA

Great content I have my pmp for a year now. It’s a 50/50 shot. I’m super happy I got it tho it will be worth it as I progress in my career journey,
Hi Andrew I passed my PMP exam few days back.Your Udemy course and TIA exam simulator was really helpful. Thanks a lot❤️
Hey Andrew. You're absolutely right. There's no point in having a certificate without knowing its real worth at work.
Obtaining the certification is the benchmark; knowing how to apply what you learned is the differentiator.
I agree 💯 Andrew . The Certification is just a leverage . The skill is what delivers the result

100% right. Thanks for vidéo and advice. Soon CAPM from France.
I expect, only during the interview phase, the cert to put me ahead of others that don’t have it,. The rest is on me to get the position.
Correct!! Study and learn so you can use your skills in the real world.
Great 👍
first comment pmp..i will clear pmp very soon

skills w/o certs beats certs w/o skills any day of the week! SKILLS + CERTS is a winning combo
Where can i find udemy course link and exam simulator?
First comment and first liked 😊
Second!
i bought your book last week. i have one question. is the content bit different to online course given with the book and the course in udemy. as the content list is slightly different in both ?
Your spot on.
Are the Exam quiz questions similar style to how the questions would be worded on the actual Test?
Can an Arts student take PMP course?
Of course, if there are projects to handle, then it's worth it.
Do you also provide job ready training or PMP implementation training after passing pmp eventually?

CAPM is a waste of time and money I did it and it did not open any doors , if you can do the PMP.
Brother , CAPM is so important for your degredation your carrer , if u get it , build up your skills so well
I agree with what you say…
Andrew this is correct, do you also.have practical.section where you guild someone to actual project work.simulation.
