Mike saying "Please shut up" when Lori insisted that what happened to Larry was a tragic accident and that she never intended on taking his life away from him was how I felt during her rambling accident justification speech
Her story about making the drug filled smoothie for herself, but he took it, kind of falls apart when you consider she changed his will to benefit her kids more than his.
I don't think it falls apart because there is very little motive to murder him. She already stole and gave her children the money, and if you change the will and then kill him then that will is not going to pan out because you don't want everyone to look into it. Events of getting fired and realising that she is going to get arrested aligns more with suicide then murder. So we have weak motive, so it is possible that truth is somewhere in between. Like for example she planned to kill him and her self but she chickned. On the other had if she was so willing to die why she didn't do it when situation went from bad(5 years in prison and fucked up relationships) to worse(life in prison). It just feels like we are missing whole story here.
@@MarkoLomovic Somebody who cares so little for other people that she was willing to steal a massive amount of money from their relief funds probably cares more about herself than she cared about her family, too. No one that selfish is going to take their own life...... they think they can find a way out of their troubles. If she was going to kill herself, she would have drank the Benadryl BEFORE she took a nap. The will-changing maneuver was just one more way for her to steal, which she seemed adept at doing.
Not at all, im going on what has been stated in the video. Hence my comment on it. I dont think her stating that she made the smoothie for herself, and he took it, or that she changed the will to benefit her kids, may or could have happened. They stated in the video that is what happened.

I always like when Mike says "I love you" at the end of each video. Makes me feel all warm inside and brings a smile to my face. Does anyone else feel this?
In fact it bothered the first time I heard it and ever since. He's saying "I love you" to 1.5 million people who would have to MEET him just to move up from "unknown individual" to qualify as a stranger. To him I'm a number. In no way am I a human to him. I might not even be human. Maybe I'm a bot. How could he "love" me-- he's never met me! He doesn't know I exist. If I die tonight he'd never know-- or care. Is he Jesus, extolling his love for all mankind? Or is it just a phrase with no meaning, impact or consequence? Because it has no meaning, impact or consequence. Mike gives me the impression of being a genuine guy. But that is the most disingenuous thing I've ever heard anyone say, and a sad cheapening of the power of the phrase "I love you" said with genuine emotion to an actual human. I find it sad.
Umm, someone needs to make a gif of Mike doing the "shut-up, shut-in, shut-up" for the uptight & long-winded person who is so offended. Lol The love ya and wink are great! He loves the support and I can't help but smile every time!

What makes this channel kind of perfect is the fact that Mike is just…imperfect? That’s a praise, not a criticism. I’ll elaborate. What I mean by imperfect is, it seems that Mike has a loosely written script that he goes by; talking points, even. But his delivery is not always perfect. A word gets stumbled over here and there. His reaction to certain details of the story seems to be real world, rather than one that’s been predetermined. Like he’s almost just shooting from the hip as he tells the story. Those little idiosyncrasies kept in, not edited over, are what keep bringing me back. Like, there are pauses after a sentence while he searches for the right word to use. I love the loose edges. It doesn’t have to be so clean cut. His personality is conveyed through the storytelling. Which, in turn, gives the channel personality. So again, nothing but praise. Edit: Tree
Imagine killing someone because you did something wrong and are scared of the consequences. Literally doesn't make sense to me at all, great video as always man.

The completely disconnected automatic and clueless self-centred primping of a narcissistic sociopath.
So many killers think making up a story about harming themselves will garner enough sympathy that it will get them off with a lesser charge. All it shows is that they may suffer from sociopathy since those are the types of people who would lie about something so serious.

Her initial story of how he went to look at the engine, got a horrible look on his face, and he went over the side of the boat was 100% the truth. It'll never cease to shock me how people can be together for so long, in this case almost 2 decades, and the one partner might as well be a stranger to the other because even after all this time, her husband never really knew her or what she was capable of. I'm sure he never would've thought she could do this to him, his kids, or the people she signed on to help. It's just sad. I feel so bad for all her victims.
It’s crazy though how people will witness awful character/integrity breaches and still say, “yeah, they did that, but they’d never do THIS…”. My mom was a psychopath, she lived to a ripe old age off that general human supposition

I always like when Mike says "I love you" at the end of each video. Makes me feel all warm inside and brings a smile to my face. Does anyone else feel this?
It's so nice how he makes us, his audience, feel so appreciated every video. It's that and his sense of humor that keeps bringing me back!
Lol

Mike posting is a highlight of the day. As usual his storytelling never disappoints.
Edit: Tree
Exactly!! It seems genuine instead of tightly scripted. So we get to know him a little bit. Love, love Mike and his videos.

It's the Irish storytelling gene. He knows that being told a story and being read a story are two different experiences.

The completely disconnected automatic and clueless self-centred primping of a narcissistic sociopath.
Agree. A pathological liar that cannot stop.
So many killers think making up a story about harming themselves will garner enough sympathy that it will get them off with a lesser charge. All it shows is that they may suffer from sociopathy since those are the types of people who would lie about something so serious.
And they don't realize how bad their stories are. Who goes boating on a lake with a spouse to kill themselves?
Possibly the most warmly charismatic and refreshingly genuine content creators on this platform and up there with those we would likely all miss terribly should they ever, god forbid, stop uploading.

It's another creepy example of the "partial truths" told by murderers. Her initial story of how he went to look at the engine, got a horrible look on his face, and he went over the side of the boat was 100% the truth. The part she skipped was the reason for the horrible look and reason he went over. It's got to be horrible to figure out your spouse is killing you. I always have to stay until the very end to see that smile and hear that I love you! Makes my day! Much love and support Mike! 💕
Ever noticed that there's always more comments about how great Mike is than there is about the case being covered? That's because everyone is here because we just love this guy, he could talk to us about anything and we'd still listen!! Seriously tho, keep up the great work Mike, proud to say I've been a follower for years and seeing how much your channel and following has grown makes me do a happy dance! It's totally deserved, nobody covers a case with just the right amount of humour than you!!

My husband was admitted to hospital last Wednesday and came within a hair’s breadth of dying. Your videos, even though there have only been two in that short time, have been an extremely welcome relief.
Did you put him in the hospital? Life insurance?
Too soon Frisco, too soon.
She looks like she’s young & in great shape. Why’s the hubby in the verge of kicking the bucket? Something shady going on with those two
Hope he is all better ASAP and you can laugh together about Mike’s life insurance club dance and watch some episodes together over cup of something nice💞
What was wrong with him?
PS
Mike, you REALLY have a gift. 🎁. I REALLY hope you enjoy doing these stories because you're just so good!!😊
Your humor, how you put the videos together and can't forget the "I love ya!!" at the end that brings it all together.
Hope you stay well and thank you so much for sharing your talent with us!!💗
Well said! 😎👍
One of my favourite channels, Mike your storytelling is legendary.
I still love it when Mike says "hey" to me.
Thanks Mike and everyone who works on these episodes on this channel
I appreciate you Mike as a really good researcher, storyteller, and comedian...but also for often expressing your love for your listeners at the end of your shows. That's not common from men in media, and it's nonexistent in the True Crime Genre. Bravo Buckaroo!
I love how Mike talks about cases that aren’t well known to me.
Another great story as told by Mike with the adorable ending wink that makes my day!😉😃👍
That ending was seriously cute.
Only boys from Ireland can make a wink that cute. Trust me.
I was just breaking the pain barrier on my shakti mat when your notification popped up. I'm going to lay here for another half hr listening to you now. Bliss 😊
Hey you Mike thanks for being the voice of sanity in an insane subject. Love your sense of humour. From SA 🇿🇦🇿🇦
