Does anybody know whether the first recipe can also be made with regular set yogurt? Greek yogurt is crazy expensive where I live, so I would rather use normal yogurt if I can. ☺ Thanks for any help. 🙏
@@THEchakkid segui a receita passo a passo. Usei ovos na temperatura ambiente e bati muito bem até o creme ficar bem clarinho. O forno deve estar bem aquecido.
@@denisemafra9214 essa dos ovos, talvez tenha sido isso, ou a questão da temperatura. Também não meti o papel vegetal muito bem, pode ter impedido o crescimento

I tried the recip and it was delicious but my cake feel down. I've baked it 45 min, turned off the oven and left it in 5-8min (but didn't open the oven anytime in the proces) then I opened oven a bit just to let in some air but it fell down. Do you habe any advice that it stays fluffy and high?
The always fall down. It’s the effect of the cornstarch. I recommend leaving it in the (turned off) oven longer than 5-8 as meringue responds best to lower temperatures. Maybe 12-15 mins after turning oven off.

Your recipe is not complete. You added a white powder at 1:33 but did not identify it. Nor is it in your notes. If it was baking powder or baking soda, then we will fail if we try to duplicate your cake.
@@margaretmargaret5506there is NO cheese in this cake. This is a keto style recipe and I have never encountered a cake in Japan that used yoghurt. Never put baking powder into meringue. It’s totally unsuited.

the same cake Sophie Mayer include 1 teaspoon baking powder ,by the way this is japan cheesecake and they do not use baking soda
