Listening to Ramdas is like listening to my grandmother. She was kind, wise and never complained. Deeply devoted to lord Vishnu, she worshipped him, in her puja room. I loved watching her as she went about her rituals. Sometimes she would give me a small block of sandalwood to be dipped in water and made a paste of by rubbing on a small tablet of the same wood. I remember the scent to this day. Thank you Ram Dass baba.. .
Thank you for posting this. I'm an ER nurse and am very troubled by the children I've had to watch pass. The last question of the video was full of truth I think every EMS professional should hear. Thank you.
First time I listened to this lecture I was smoking coke in my vw in down town Miami now I'm in a sober living in New Jersey god was there and God is here be here now😅
I miss the innocence if this era the adults of the same age today as was the adults back then us so different It pulls at my heart because i sense the innocence in their laughter that is no longer present at similar ages i was a child back then and the change iver 20 years living 40 minutes from Boston is mind blowing
Awakening is the difference between living in Truth, or existing in Illusion. Enlightenment is the difference between living willingly or existing unwillingly. Be willing to live in Truth No matter what. Bliss my friends
I am so grateful for having watched and heard this lecture. It was like entering an exceedingly beautiful and peaceful and compassionste and hopeful place. I was swept into it. Ramdass embodies being in the moment very powerfully and yet with so much equanimity. I feel i will keep coming back to this. Thank you.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Baba Ram Dass! BE HERE NOW. BE LOVE NOW. JUST BEEEEE! ❤❤❤❤❤❤ We need you now. You say: I’m here. Where could I possibly go? Always connected. XO
He's such a BLAST!!! I wish I had met him in person one on One! That would have been a Riot we would have gotten along famously as I'm sure he would have agreed 👍. He just cracks me up constantly! Crazy meets insane!!!! Lol 😂 🤪
Love this and all Ram Dass lectures, and I am grateful that it is here for all of us to not only hear but to actually see, so thank you for uploading this video, but something tells me that he would prefer a different photo on the thumbnail.
This is a remarkable piece. There was a book I read with like content that had a profound impact. "A Life Unplugged: Reclaiming Reality in a Digital Age" by Theodore Blaze
1:47:37 When he mentions staring at the point between the person eyes that was so real bc as a child I always avoided eye contact bc I noticed people shaped shifted if I looked for too long and it freaked me the heck out 😂
I think Ram Dass might have said to not push away the aggravation. Recognize that it's a feeling just as pure and NOW as any good feeling you experience. It's just the way you react to particular stimuli that's at play here. The real trip is even when you push away the aggravation, it's still perfect. ❤️
I can't unhear the faint voice saying the words before he says them. Did he pre-recorded parts of it and have it in his ear or was that added after - like an antiecho?
I was wondering about this too, I think it might be picking up audio from the next room or something, I’m sure he wasn’t the only one giving lectures there
I have a RAM camper van it says in big letters on the front RAM. On the back windows I put in even bigger purple letters FORGIVENESS. A servant of God I AM. God show me how to live!
All questions can become internal. From a developed relationship. Like if I live with another soul: I do NOT ask some other soul regarding something in relation to my significant other?? I ask them. In the same manor I ask me, when it's a matter of relational understandings regarding..... Me :)

Hindus believe that God is in everything. They aren’t necessarily worshiping a stone or tree, but recognizing God in all things. They believe that any path a human chooses to seek God is acceptable. It’s the last bastion of freedom from religious persecution. Allowing all to practice as they wish. Ignorance and “belief” in monotheist God made up by a Human can’t be the whole story. It’s perfectly ok to say I DONT KNOW. Too many people believe they are right and no other way exists. Hinduism is true religious freedom.

Can you all hear that he repeats everything after this very quiet man's voice, might be he himself in recording. I think his mic is picking it up from whatever he has got in his ears. And that's not the first time I hear it. He just repeats l, he doesn't make it up on the spot.
I love watching him speak rather than just listening to the audio
❤ I just want you guys and the new new one
i used to listen all these lectures while i bended metal sheets in a factory. pretty much the first time i watch him speak.
Absolutely. I wish this was the case with more Alan Watts lectures.
Don't get too attached to the form :D Is what he would say 😁
❤me too

The tape starts fucking up around the two hour mark but it clears up for the most part around ten minutes later. Just fyi
around 29:00 is it only me or can you also hear another voice saying the things he's about to say before he does? 😮
Has to be an audio artifact in the way they recorded it. Or maybe Rams truth precedes his words. ;)
What aloveingsoul
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏♥️
does anyone else notice the audio coming before he speaks? it’s like he’s listening to a recording of himself
This is it
Yah, I am not my last thought 🤔; I Am Who AM; "I AM...'🔯✝️☪️🕉️⚛️☯️♾️

*IM OUT HERE TRYNA FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET NOT AGGRAVATED*

It's just the way you react to particular stimuli that's at play here. The real trip is even when you push away the aggravation, it's still perfect. ❤️
Is that the audio overlayed like a pre echo? Makes it sound like someone prompting. 😂
I can't unhear the faint voice saying the words before he says them. Did he pre-recorded parts of it and have it in his ear or was that added after - like an antiecho?
who is cueing him? can hear it clearly through the microphone...?
I was wondering about this too, I think it might be picking up audio from the next room or something, I’m sure he wasn’t the only one giving lectures there
it’s just a reverb from faulty old audio recording, it’s not someone cuing him
I have a RAM camper van it says in big letters on the front RAM. On the back windows I put in even bigger purple letters FORGIVENESS. A servant of God I AM. God show me how to live!
Lol love this

Wow dude.
Why am I hearing him before he says it 😮
If you watch this in 1.25 speed, it feels like he never had his stroke. I love this man and always will. Hanuman ❤
I'm pretty sure this was recorded years before the stroke.
This was recorded in 86 and the stroke was in 97

I understand everything but it’s never spoken about how to deal with strong physical pain and a never ending river of tears. Ah so………doesn’t ease it
Presence is what you do, presence with feeling is healing 🫶
I don' think he would feel I disrespected him by calling him a rascal, since he said his guru was a rascal
Indeed I agree ❤
What every works for you... being in the now is the only point
Why does he say laser like that?
31:26 ????
Noisy background is distracting
"...and then he pulled my beard"! :D
