This is what I called a quality content. The content is solid and also I love the way your voice sounds. It makes the video more fun and enjoyable to watch, listen, and learn. Thank you.
Another great tip for me and sure to all "amateur digi painters" around the world. B-) Perfect Boss!!! I've only been painting for 2 weeks and I've learned a lot from you. Good luck with your another projects and have a nice day... year... all your life, Mr. Storm. ;-)
Love your channel and content! Would love to see a video on how you created your textures. For example the grass. I know you have a texture you've painted but going through that process more in depth would be great!
when i create the brush, my brush is automatic opaque. how do i get rid of this? my opacity for my brush is at 100% the sensitivity of the brush stroke is also off
Hi~ i found your tutorial really helpful, I'm just having a problem bc anytime I change brushes and go back to the one I created, the changes are not saved so I have to keep setting it each time I decide to use it. Can you help me?
Yes you will need to save the settings as a new brush. Last step is always to save it. In the top right of the brush settings, there is a menu item. (Three stacked lines). There you can set New Brush Preset. That will save it to the bottom of you brushes.
I followed everything that u did but when I try and use the brush theres some light coloured square around the shape from where I selected it using the rectangular marquee tool. Please tell me how to get rid of this
Could you please share how you make your 3d textures in c4d? Your renders always seem to have a great balance of simple flat colours and have just enough depth to carry on in 2d.
Hello, I'm doing everything like you show, but somehow the first brush I created became transparent. It doesn't matter if I change all the settings it remains that way. Do you have any idea what could cause this? Thank you!
When you painted in that brush, were you using the lasso tool and the clipping mask function? You did it so quickly I couldn't tell. How did you do it? I'm new to Photoshop still and trying to learn new tricks and tips.
Another beautiful one. Could you show us how to do a cloud brush? Backgrounds are an annoyance for me and after discovering how you do the brush for the leaves, I am curious to see how you would create one for clouds as they are such soft shapes
Hi Rissa, I think you would go about it the same way :). However if you want realistic clouds you could photograph them and then by de-saturating it and then using contrasts you can create a black and white matte of the cloud. Then you would select it and create a brush preset from that. Let me know if that make sense.
You've finally given me a way to paint nature without going insane.

Great tutorial, brief yet to the point. No story telling, no introduction no nothing, just straight to the most valuable part. Nice!

Hello, I'm doing everything like you show, but somehow the first brush I created became transparent. It doesn't matter if I change all the settings it remains that way. Do you have any idea what could cause this? Thank you!
You probably did not create your brush shape with a black colour. Or you drew it with a semi transparent brush!
please tell me how you drew the bricks
When you painted in that brush, were you using the lasso tool and the clipping mask function? You did it so quickly I couldn't tell. How did you do it? I'm new to Photoshop still and trying to learn new tricks and tips.
thanks
How do you create those damn bricks?
Anyways I already subbed
God Damn
Thnkyu vr much 😭👍👍

why my custom brushes turns out transparent? :( Oh, I was not using black color for the pattern of my brush. ..
Do you paint the shape in full black on top of white?
You solved it before I answered 😃
@@OlofStorm But you answered really fast too! I was able to create just the perfect brush following your tutorial, thanks a million!!!
@@anikatasnim6001 awesome! Glad to hear it!!

How do you create a new cloud brush???

Then you would select it and create a brush preset from that. Let me know if that make sense.
Olof Storm yeah that makes sense!!! I saw you use one that had varying opacity so I thought it might be a different process. Thank you!!!
I ever draw clouds just with basic brush, and most of the artist also draw clouds from basic brush. Just play with the texture
i tried this. but my the first tool doesn't stay when i release it after creating a single leaf unlike yours. :
Download link? please
Why dont you used Adobe illustrator ? Instead of Photoshop
Vector gives a very different style.
@@OlofStorm so when to use photoshop & when to use illustrator which will good for 2D animation
@@arush498 I very rarely use illustrator. Its more for clean line motion graphics and so on. I prefer pixels.
