    Love the chilling vibe of your video! Are those aluminium or steel parts?

    I want to be a welder but I have dreads and worried about my hair, thanks for showing me how to keep them!

    Hi, glad I saw this. I see you are using the millermatic 255. Do you like it? And have you had any trouble with it?

    • @AlexasArtRoom

      I do like it! It’s a push-pull attachment that I was using for aluminum. I had some trouble with it at first but I think I was holding the nozzle too close to my material. As you may know, with aluminum the metal needs to be really clean. There were some areas that I couldn’t get super clean, like the inside of a picket. When I was holding the nozzle too close the metal would splatter and clog up the tip. I would have to rewire the entire line. I finally got the hang of it though after some trial and error. The machine works great though! I do prefer push-pull over a spool gun for aluminum.
      Thanks for watching!

      @AlexasArtRoom awesome! I have one and love seeing others us there's. I will subscribe and watch for more of you using it. Thanks for the videos!

      @@michaelbigelow367 thank you so much for watching! Unfortunately I will not have anymore videos with me using it. I no longer work that particular job. I had to build 18 staircases, stringers, handrails, and platforms. After instillation I moved to another part of Florida!
      I am going to continue making videos, just not particularly about welding anymore. I am redirecting my channel towards my art- my true passion.
      Take care 🙏🏻✨💜

    What do you wear with thick long dreadlocks?
    I have thick locs and I didn't know what helmet and hat to get. ☹️

    • @AlexasArtRoom
      @AlexasArtRoom  4 месяца назад

      I just put my locs in a pony tail. And I put the pony tail between the headband thing in the helmet. So my pony tail sits right about the thing you turn to tighten the head band.
      It’s kinda hard to explain. But I hope that makes sense! And I don’t even wear a hat when I weld because I have the fabric guard on my hood. It prevents light from reflecting on the inside of my hood and protects my hair.

    That’s a different vibe for a video. Keep up the good work! Not everyone can weld aluminum. And watch out for the grinder guard Nazis.
