    Absolutely great video. I’ve been playing this song on the guitar for over 30 years now. And you absolutely nailed it!! That’s my favorite part in the whole song. It runs chills up your spine.. Randy was an absolute musical genius.

    Perfect! Very concise and easy to follow. Thank you! (I had to revisit my roots, and after a TBI, it's hard to recall things, but muscle memory is still there) This was a GREAT help!

    Thanks! Great lesson. I used this to record a cover of the interlude. I double tracked with nylon and steel string guitars, which seemed to work well. Not sure if that is what Randy did on the record.

    • @stevemindickguitar
      @stevemindickguitar  11 дней назад

      @@GoneTo11 Randy was famous for recording multiple tracks for each part. Listen close and you’ll hear that Randy liked having each track slightly different from one another. That’s why so many people argue about extra notes in the recordings. Sometimes it was the same chord played in several positions with alternate voicings. Brilliant!! Imagine what he would be doing now…
      I’d love to hear your cover! Write to me when it’s up on RUclips.

    Is this portion of the song tuned down a half step?

    • @stevemindickguitar
      @stevemindickguitar  2 года назад

      I don’t keep my guitars in the Eb tuning so I think out of habit during a break I tuned back up to standard. Silly mistake on my part Sorry!! Good ear by the way.
