Hello Dr. Jonathan,
I have been getting headaches a lot lately. I don’t think they are migraine related but I went to my chiropractor yesterday here in Tualatin,OR and he gave me an adjustment . I was in a scooter accident back in 2022. I had a concussion, cracked rib , and a strained ankle.. Do you think I’m getting the headaches from when I had my concussion?

I'm sorry to hear about your headaches. It’s possible that your past concussion could be contributing to your current symptoms, even if the headaches aren’t migraine-related. Trauma from a concussion can sometimes have lingering effects, including tension or misalignment in the neck that might lead to headaches.
Since you’ve had a recent adjustment, it might be helpful to monitor your symptoms and discuss them with your chiropractor. They can assess if any lingering issues from the accident might be contributing to your headaches and recommend appropriate treatment. If needed, seeking a second opinion from a specialist could also provide further insight.
