You are so great at capturing the "feeling" and making us feel like we are there with you. Loving the light, the details, the flow of the story. Loved the perspective of the owner of Suisha Mura - and it just underlines how important it is to travel or seek up other cultures than your own to get a perspective on life.
This was such a beautiful video, thank you. I just wanted to share, that beautiful shot of Fuji-San, my partner loudly went, holy shit you actually stood up there when it was on screen which did make me get a little emotional at it. The line that led me to going to Japan for the first time and climbing Fuji last year started when I watched one of your videos for the first time about 2 years ago so, thank you for all your work!
When you crossed your the first bridge and arrived, I immediately teared up. I imagined myself being there and how healing it must feel. And I felt it strongly. When I think of Japan, this has always been it. I have been trying to remember how my interest grew. When I was a freshman at university, is when I first heard of WWOOFing, and somehow I ended up with a PDF file of Japan's guide to all the farms participating to the program. It was shared by someone on a travel forum. It was meant as an exemple, as you had to buy the guides to each country, but it made me dream and inspire. The countryside of Japan always felt like a distant dream, far away. My idea alternate life. Somehow, along the way, I forgot. Thanks for reminding me a piece of myself today ❤. I needed that.
How freaking beautiful is literally everything?? And that tea place up in the mountains are you kidding me, it's so ridiculously gorgeous! The tea set they brought outdoors was so cute and their factory is really pretty! 9 tons tho whaaaaaaaat 😵💫😵💫😵💫 Thank you as always for the lovely videos!! ✨
Such a beautiful video, the city was totally right to pick you to show off how lovely this place is, great job. This is exactly the kind of place I would love to visit if I came to Japan. As a Brit, that tea tasting would be right up my street too!
What a lovely place Emma! Thank you for giving us such an interesting tour. I’m not a tea drinker but you made me feel like l’m missing out on something really special. Lovely to see you and your new look. It’s Australia Day long weekend. Hugs to you. 🇦🇺🙏🏼💖🦋 .
27:05 That must have been a misunderstanding, unless that tea producer has some unusual procedures for their own teas. All green tea is definitely heated, in a process called kill-green, where the enzymatic action is halted (i.e. the oxidation) in order to make the tea remain green. This is usually done via steaming for Japanese teas.
Lots of nice places. Very tea-focused in an interesting way. Thought the fancy bottled tea was unique. If you live in a city like I (or Emma) it becomes a very different change of pace and scenery to visit a place like this.
I love the insight into upscaling bottled Tea also. Man, that would do well in Scandinavia! We are very much on a non-alchoholic vibe right now. Even the top restaurants offer a juice/kombucha pairing to food instead of wine.
Rural life is great in short spurts, but I end up missing the variety that a big city can offer. I get why people have a cabin at the lake to escape to on weekends but live in the city the rest of the time.
Honestly me too! That’s why I’m lucky to travel to these places for work. I love Tokyo for its convenience, excitement, and connection to friends. But definitely need some countryside time every now and then!
Wow that tea tasting looked so cool! I live in a wine growing region so I have done a lot of wine tastings, but I have never seen tea like that- I want to go there!
My interest in Japan goes back to when I was 12 years old and in 6th grade ( I’m now 75). My 6th grade teacher had lived in Japan for a time and taught us a lot about the country and culture. I have never been able to visit but enjoy hearing and seeing other people’s experiences. Thank you Emma for your channel.
Chopping wood with axe feels like typical summer time activity in Finland (cabin living in countryside). And also warming oven. Wise words from Suisha Mura.
Wonderful video Emma. This felt like a real professional service to all those Japanese businesses. Your passion and knowledge came through too. Keep it up and have a great 25!
Sorry I'm late to the comment party. OMG gurl that was so much tea! I was having empathetic heart palpitations. Fujieda is SO beautiful! So happy you get to score these sponsors and show us these less known and less "RUclipsd" areas. You're still my favorite Virtual Japan Tour Guide! Thank you much! And also....YOU GOT TO GRAB A FISH!!!
Wow, wonderful place, wonderful activities! I love fukamushi sencha, deap-steamed green tea, so I was very excited to hear it mentioned and intrigued to see it served fancy and cold! (I stumbled across it in a Sendai tea shop, the brief English description sounded good, I turned out to love it and now I buy it from a specialty tea shop here in Europe and drink litres and litres of it - but I think I dilute it like few Japanese people would 😅).
Yay you got to visit Shizuoka! Thank you for sharing the names of each place, I'll be sure to add these to my wishlist for my next trip. I would also be looking for some Houjicha and Kukicha, they are two of my favourite types of green tea.
Loved this video! I would love to taste real matcha tea. Maybe one day my husband and I will visit Japan. Thank you for making these videos. I love seeing the Japanese countryside. ❤😊
Really lovely video, feels like a step up in quality from your usual awesomeness too… new camera? New editor? … whatever it is youre on the right track! ❤
Thank you for your kindness! It’s a new camera and I’ve been learning more about colour correction and been trying new things. Still editing everything myself but it takes so much time idk if it’s sustainable 😂 thank you so much it really does mean a lot!
Well, I'm adding Fujieda to my list of places to visit after I move over ❤ I really love tea. Also, what a lovely camp ground! That looked so relaxing and quiet 😂 Brisbane is never that quiet
I think the pun in Chabacco needs to be acknowledged. It combines "Cha" and "Hako" so Tea and Box. So its designed to look and sound like Tobacco but is actually telling you what it is - a box of tea,
So cool to see you visit the Utsunoya Meiji Tunnel. We rode through it on our honeymoon cycle from Tokyo to Kyushu. There were so many frogs on the other side! 🐸 Such an interesting area to explore. 😊
Cant wait for Emma to meet Turbo Granny
helppppppp
LOL. That was my first thought as well. She's got the right glasses for it.
SECRET TUNNNEEELLL 🎶 love this charming video and editing, Emma!! Keep it up!
Hmm, yes. An interesting juxtaposition of visual tranquility and aural chaos!
Ahhhhh it's a good day when Emma has a new video ❤
Thank you for being here!
I personally think giving your partner the thumbs up should become the new norm at wedding ceremonies.

Super kind and detailed comment! I really appreciate it and I feel seen! Thank you for coming to support me and being so thoughtful ❤️

Good to have you back making videos again! You look great
Thank you so much! Feeling great :)
And this is why we have missed Emma. Love the silly moments. Beautiful work!

Your presenting keeps on getting better and so confident! Looking and sounding great!
Nothing better than new Emma to start the weekend. Keep it up!
so calming, i wish there were places like this that i could get to by train
Great video. Love how much detail you went into on the tea, hope you enjoyed it as much as it appeared 😊 Enjoy the upcoming hanami season👍🇦🇺
Such a great video!
The shot at 2:13 is amazing, the lighting gives it such a nice vibe contrasting against the dark blue/green on the outside.
This just made my day. ❤😊
Thank you Dodi!
I'm not finished with the video yet but my gosh, the video quality 😍😍😍
Thank you! Been really working on trying to up the quality!
Such a beautiful video, the city was totally right to pick you to show off how lovely this place is, great job. This is exactly the kind of place I would love to visit if I came to Japan. As a Brit, that tea tasting would be right up my street too!
Thank you for your kind words! Always feel so lucky when an area wants to work with me. Very lucky to be able to do this job!
Absolutely beautiful place and wonderful video! Always enjoy your videos much thanks
Lovely tour of some absolutely serene countryside locations. I would totally go expat to live in an area like one of those.
Wow! That view of Fuji-san while sipping tea was amazing! It looks like a lovely place to be.
found myself smiling through the entire video
That was such a great video! As a lover of tea, I thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you so much!!! ❤❤❤

There's such a huge tea drinking culture here! but so many other things too for non tea drinkers :) Hope you enjoy the long weekend!
Such a beautiful and thoughtful trip. Thank you for bringing us along!
Thank you for coming along with me!
Always a joy to see a new episode of your adventures in Japan !
That was one of the best your videos❤️so cozy and insane quality!
13:50 Was there ever a more appropriate song? :p Alas, Brave Lady Emma did not enter The Secret Tunnel of Secrets.

It is first time for me to know this beautiful place🏠
I want to try various types of matcha ice cream🍵🍦

Posting a comment to help emma! Great video and thumbnail! Premiere was fun!
I was just gonna write that it was just like the beginning of spirited away, when you said it.

Any video including Emma is a great video.
Lovely video. Can't time stamp but I particularly like the bit where you drank tea!
Such a cozy and lovely Video - thank you for joining with us 💜
Chopping wood with axe feels like typical summer time activity in Finland (cabin living in countryside). And also warming oven. Wise words from Suisha Mura.
Wish I had the opportunity to chop wood more often!
Wonderful video Emma.
This felt like a real professional service to all those Japanese businesses.
Your passion and knowledge came through too.
Keep it up and have a great 25!
Nothing more romantic than a demonic entity whispering sweet nothings into your ear in front of a tunnel

That looked like such a relaxing experience.

This was so cute and fun. I love the chill conversation bits most. What a delightful trip this must have been. Adventure!
I literally yelled Dandadan! When you were at the tunnel lol and I giggled at the secret tunnel song 😆💕💕
this video feels so heart warming and wholesome
So much fun as always! Great reporting too! Makes me want to visit.
Wow! I need to add this to my list of places to check out.
本当の日本を日本人として改めて感じられました!ありがとう!!
Very teaterrific😊🍃love it
Perfect use of the secret tunnel song 👏👏👏
Seen the thumbnail and was like, “is she back in that wheelchair again?” 😂
Nooooooo please no
Beautiful, the countryside and food❤
Lovely wedding 👍👍😅

Yay you got to visit Shizuoka! Thank you for sharing the names of each place, I'll be sure to add these to my wishlist for my next trip. I would also be looking for some Houjicha and Kukicha, they are two of my favourite types of green tea.
Fuji view was immaculate 👌✨
The way I laughed so loud at the gigachad husbando reveal! 😂
So I noticed you've been doing this for a Decade. . . Maybe a good vid idea to reflect on things. 😸
Just perfect🥰
Woaaa this vlog was so nice!! I really wanna go to japan nooooow :)
All that tea and probably still less caffeine that 1 can of Red Bull lol
Loved the video and great thumbnail
Well worth the wait as usual.
Haha, the Dandadan opening played in my head as soon as that tunnel shot appeared in the beginning.
Secret tunnel got me soo good 🥰🥰🥰

SECRET TUNNEL, THROUGH THE MOUTAIN, SECRET SECRET SECRET TUNNEL!!!
❤love this❤ thank you ☕☕☕
I have to know…what month did you film this in? The maples look so vibrant and the sky so clear. Beautiful.
This was filmed in the last few days of November! I would maybe go in December too as I think there would be even more momiji :) was sooo beautiful
Well, I'm adding Fujieda to my list of places to visit after I move over ❤ I really love tea.
Also, what a lovely camp ground! That looked so relaxing and quiet 😂 Brisbane is never that quiet
That was so interesting and also very beautiful country side.
🌱🔥 MATCHA 🔥🌱
Gotta nice chuckle from that
I have a fairly serious caffeine intolerance but I love matcha and this video made me extremely envious haha
My heart was racinggg I was not ok haha, i would not recommend that much tea to anyone 😂
I think the pun in Chabacco needs to be acknowledged. It combines "Cha" and "Hako" so Tea and Box. So its designed to look and sound like Tobacco but is actually telling you what it is - a box of tea,
Omggg I never connected the hako part in my head! Thank you 😂 that’s so good
yay new video ❤
🎶 SECRET TUNNEL!!! 🎶
Would love to do all of that!
They're happy tea friends.
So cool to see you visit the Utsunoya Meiji Tunnel. We rode through it on our honeymoon cycle from Tokyo to Kyushu. There were so many frogs on the other side! 🐸 Such an interesting area to explore. 😊
Oh dang I love frogs, I missed out 😭 that’s awesome you have been there before!
I LOVE this video. Can you make more like this please?
Owner is amazing ❤
"Matchaaaaaaaaaa" made me laugh. 😂
Holly mackerel, what a view... 🙇♂
(that narrow access road from Kiyomizudera is bonkers, though)
I'm with you on the hojicha, I love that stuff
FANTASTIC!
Marushichi and nanaya? So circle 7 and then a more casual sounding 7? Or something like that.
Bugger wine tasting, I'll take tea tasting any day!
ooo is that the cauldron bathtub on acnh lol
your glasses are awesome they look so good
Thank you so much! It means a lot, I spent a long time looking for frames that I really liked 😂 these are by Yohji Yamamoto! ❤️
