Im sooo sorry you were sick! I want to say this is some of my FAVORITE content. I love seeing this side of your job, I LOVE the friendship you have with Sarah and your other coworkers, and watching these videos is a nice break from the bleak reality of my little life here in the states. Watching you all have so much fun brings me a lot of joy!
Great video Emma. How you managed to work while you were so unwell is testament to your professionalism. Loved the kayaking! Hugs and happiness. 🇦🇺🌈🦋🌻🍫
Oh I really like day(s) in the life kind of vids. Especially neat being a behind-the-scenes TC peak. This was great! Way to go powering through the bronchitis. We need TokiDokiTraveller Cherry Hat merch! And your Day 3 morning genki was so adorable! Thank youuu!
I've been bedridden for over a month due to a back injury and yours and TC's videos have been keeping me company throughout the whole thing. I feel like I'm living vicariously through your videos. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
Your sense of humour is impeccable! The super hero Sarah “my milk babyyy” got me ahahaha. Thanks for always making such amazing videos! PS you’re beautiful! ❤
Gosh this makes me want to visit Hokkaido so much! Also, just want to add that I really enjoyed the video. Maybe it was your enjoyment of the trip shinning through but could really feel such a great vibe from your narration as well as in the clips themselves!
Hokkaido feat. a gin distillery and an Aussie-palate friendly deli? Emma you have given my honeymoon plans a solid kickstart, bless you lass. Phenomenal timing. We're heading that way at the tail end of our trip, that'll be right around the time we're craving something familiar.
I’m glad you were feeling better quickly and were able to enjoy the trip! Hokkaido looks amazing, I hope I can visit on my solo trip soon! 😃 (somewhat afraid of the resurgence of the ‘it’s my milk babyyy’ monster 🤣)
I'm so glad that you're genki now Emma. You were a poorly puppy 😔. I loved the shot of you and Sarah floating in the water. The sunset looked awesome 😍
I loooooove these behind the scenes! Always wanted to know how the creative (bone-in) sausage was made and you do a great job showing what it’s like. 🥳
I just discovered your video this one exactly. And I decided to watch it. I found this video, delightfully entertaining and I felt so sorry for you being sick. So because of this video, I must hold you to find your future adventures and endeavors in life. Thank you for making such a video!❤
I actually just spend 4 and a half days of August in Hokkaido. The idea was to escape the summer heat in the "cool" north. (Still was 30+ °C, but could be worse I suppose) The thing that struck me the most was how whide and open everything is. Compared to all the narrow streets I'm used to, it felt like walking through a street in California. Also Hokkaido is great for hiking with its national parks. Can only recommend!
It so nice to see some videos from Hokkaido that aren't Sapporo exclusive. :) Hokkaido calls me more than any other parts of Japan, and I don't even know exactly why, it's not like other parts aren't interesting, or that there's more things on Hokkaido, but there's something so enticing in this island.
Well that answers some of the questions I had about the TC video. You didn't look sick at all and I wondered why you weren't going to the sento. I hope you're feeling better now!
I reallly enjoyed this video after viewing the final one to get a better idea of the reality of traveling around Hokkaido! Please do more of these "the making of" videos as a follow up to some of your finished videos..
I had forgotten cherries come from a tree until part way into this video, so I was quite concerned when you ate food mart parking lot tree fruit. This was a fun video to watch, y'all are living the dream.
Ah I would love to go kayaking in Hokkaido during the summer time it would be so fun!, back in my scout days I would teach people the basics on how to row and move in a kayak during the summer time in my home town. Glad that you had a fun time and powered through despite being sick during the trip 😌
Very interesting to see how out of order the TC video was shot. I somehow thought you did all that in only 2 days and was wondering how that worked. :D Also, I love that you actually went for desert ice cream before the soup curry place. xD Thank you so much for showing behind the scenes stuff!
I've just returned from Japan and loved western Hokkaido. Otaru was super cute, Kushiro and Akanko were super interesting, Furano & Nakafurano were so lush and THE MELONS and Sapporo had really nice chill vibes too. For a typical winter place, I loved it and I would put it as 2nd or 3rd for my top places in Japan. Also side note, I found my lactose problem was stress-induced so I was able to enjoy all the dairy by being on holiday.
It’s months since your last video appeared on my list. Im still subscribed so l dont know what happened! Fun video crazy lady. Sorry you were SO ill but you were amazingly brave to soldier on. Well done. Excellent team member. Love from Adelaide. 🌈🦋❤️🧚🏻♀️
"It was good to see them (potatoes) in real life" - I love it. 🤣 I love watching TC, and seeing the behind-the-scenes makes me appreciate all of you more! You were even sick oh my. Thank you for all your hard work Emma! 💖
@12:08 You don't see that very often I think, where the writing on the sign is still from right to left. I wonder how old that sign is :) When did they change it anyway?
You can make a clafoutis (kla+foo+tee), which is like bread-pudding custard that has no bread just fruit. Bread-pudding custard is the same batter/custard of a French Toast recipe.
Being reminded of the gengis khan I had last year made my mouth water. It was the best meal I had on that trip! We had some premium cuts and they really were much better than the rest. 🤤🤤
WOOO!! yay!! TOKODOKI is back! Emma I just want to thank you for sacrificing your time, health and piece of mind to make this vid happen while you were sick. Been watching you since right before you moved from you small apartment with the weird latter set up. I super enjoy your humor and personality in your vids. TY for all that you do home slice!!
love when she shows us the behind the scenes there was so many cool things she showed us like sausage with bones and her very cute uwu, also glad they survived the rapids, this was a great video that was fun to watch!
That is the single best thing I know when I'm sick....take a small stool and sit in the shower for 30-40 minutes. The stiffness in the body soften ups so nice and you relax!
HELLO EMMA just watched the VIDEOS U MADE 4 TC GREAT JOB 2 4 OF U U DID GREAT I DID 👂 A BIT OF UR VOICE AMAZING BCAZ U COULDN'T TELL UNTIL I WATCHED UR VIDEO ❤
POV: Emma slowly infecting all her coworkers with bronchitis. ;) Seriously, though, nice job pushing through despite feeling like crap! I know exactly how that goes, and it's no fun. But it sounds like it was very much worth it!
You shouldn’t drink cold, or dairy things when you have bronchitis. So I hope what looked like cold milk at 2:22 wasn’t either of the 2😅 My nephew is asthmatic n when he gets the worse versions of a cold it leads to him having bronchitis. So we’ve learned some few tricks of what n what not to do. Anyways, sorry for being a lil Karen on that note. Hope your feeling well now, and no more sick days ahead of you. Thank you for posting an upload❤
I've been watching your videos for a couple of years, and I've never been able to work it out or find the origin story! what does your 'Jan-ne (?)' sign off mean? also this whole trip looked so dreamy
*What the trip was meant to be:* "Let's promote Hokkaido!" *What the trip ended up being:* _[crew endlessly eating Konbini food, Emma slumped over in a corner]_ I'm just kidding :p I always appreciate the zaniness of Tokyo Creative's output, the amazing edits in own videos, that human touch in a travel/tourism channel doesn't go unappreciated. If Trash Taste find out about the bone-in sausage, we're all done for...
I LOVED THIS TRIP!!
UwU!
Such a dork LOL ' MY Milk " or somthing like that LOL
Credit to the TC staff and your professionalism because I could *not* tell you were sick from the TC videos. Hope you’re feeling better ❤
yep same
Emma is always super reliable 💛
Travelling while sick is one of the worst experience. You know its a job when you have to power through it. Good job powering through!

"You're so babygirl" is the best and funniest line about Hokkaido XD. I love it so much!!! Such a fun vlog!!!!
Great video Emma. How you managed to work while you were so unwell is testament to your professionalism. Loved the kayaking! Hugs and happiness. 🇦🇺🌈🦋🌻🍫
Honestly watching the TC video I had no idea you were not feeling well. Props to you for powering through. Hope you feel better.

Nice "behind the scenes" video after watching the TC video. Thanks for your hard work and powering through, despite the bronchitis. 👍
I've been bedridden for over a month due to a back injury and yours and TC's videos have been keeping me company throughout the whole thing. I feel like I'm living vicariously through your videos. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
Hope you feel better! I am in a similar situation.
Feel better soon!

Your content just keeps getting better. Loved this video. Go on many more trips with Sarah
The hilarity of normal Emma & Sarah unhinged antics. XD
Happy to see you thriving Emma! That national park that y'all went to on your last day together looked breathtaking!
You guys all have such a great vibe together, it's fun to see all the things and places you take us. Thanks!
This was a nice to see the behind the scenes video for the TC video. Such a trooper to film while under the weather. Thumbs up!
I’m glad you were feeling better quickly and were able to enjoy the trip! Hokkaido looks amazing, I hope I can visit on my solo trip soon! 😃 (somewhat afraid of the resurgence of the ‘it’s my milk babyyy’ monster 🤣)
What a trooper. I'm a complete baby when I'm sick. You're my hero.
Thank you for the behind the scenes look, and I hope you're feeling better.
You look so happy despite the illness and everything! Really happy to see the vibes
This is one of your best videos yet, IMHO.
Wow! Amazing! Thanks for this! Really had fun going on a trip with you today! Looking forward to the next one!
I'm so glad that you're genki now Emma. You were a poorly puppy 😔. I loved the shot of you and Sarah floating in the water. The sunset looked awesome 😍
could not tell at all in the TC vid that you were ill, hope you're feeling well now
Your such a trooper!! Ty for the lovely videos from this trip!😊
Just finished watching the last video from TC and watched Sarah’s solo trip a couple days ago. You guys are awesome and glad you are feeling better.
I loooooove these behind the scenes! Always wanted to know how the creative (bone-in) sausage was made and you do a great job showing what it’s like. 🥳
Suggestion: Make jam out of all those cherries! It's super easy. Also, next time just call Dr. Jelly - he'll fix you right up :p
I just discovered your video this one exactly. And I decided to watch it. I found this video, delightfully entertaining and I felt so sorry for you being sick. So because of this video, I must hold you to find your future adventures and endeavors in life. Thank you for making such a video!❤

Bronchitis sucks so much hope you're feeling better
I just came from the TC vid, I could hear you were congested, but had no idea it was bronchitis, that’s so rough ❤
This behind the scenes was cool to see, the food looked so tasty. Thanks for sharing it with us!!
Super impressed with you powering through illness. I watched the TC video and could not tell!

As the old saying goes: "A cherry an hour keeps the bronchitis at bay." 😂
100 cherries an hour gives you diarrhea
Thanks for making fun videos!
Thank you for sharing! Your videos make my days.
I've been to Niseko twice this year. I love that region and Mt Yotei stopped me in my tracks more than a few times. It's so beautiful.
We love your BTS video Emma!! 😍
your vlogs are super refreshing and fun
I had forgotten cherries come from a tree until part way into this video, so I was quite concerned when you ate food mart parking lot tree fruit. This was a fun video to watch, y'all are living the dream.
Heading back to Tokyo after 4 1/2 years in 2 days. I always enjoy your videos, Emma. Be well.

Sarah's wide flowy dress is so cute and looks so comfortable. I LOVE it.
I have not seen a Tokdoki video for a few weeks. It is great to catch up with you; thank you.
This video made me smile, thanks.
Was in those areas recently (walking from to to bottom). The heatwave was unfun but the sights were glorious.
What an awesome job! Hope you're feeling better
You did great work on that cherry farm video, I didn't realize at all you were unwell!
Great video. Hope to see TC in action when I visit in 2024
"It was good to see them (potatoes) in real life" - I love it. 🤣
I love watching TC, and seeing the behind-the-scenes makes me appreciate all of you more! You were even sick oh my. Thank you for all your hard work Emma! 💖

Well done you for continuing to work while having bronchitis. I could never do that!
You can make a clafoutis (kla+foo+tee), which is like bread-pudding custard that has no bread just fruit. Bread-pudding custard is the same batter/custard of a French Toast recipe.
Have you noticed that the JAL plane that you showed at 0:25 is the plane that crashed a few days ago?
I love the behind-the-scenes videos. Hope you’re doing better now!
Great video Emma! 😊
Must have been nice getting out of Tokyo in the heat that was going on there though even if you were sick, keep up the cool videos!
Being reminded of the gengis khan I had last year made my mouth water. It was the best meal I had on that trip! We had some premium cuts and they really were much better than the rest. 🤤🤤

0:37 I instantly went "Ain't nobody got time for that"
14:26 oh hey I thinK I recognise that corner
oh hey I recognise that restaurant!
Looks like such a fun time!! I'd love to go river rafting like that tbh
Afuri! We have an Afuri here in Portland, OR, along with a couple of their sister restaurants. They have great spicy karaage.
I was looking forward to the "i'll fight anyone for money" thumbnail.. but i clicked anyway
Loved the voice over!
Hope you're okay and feeling better now 🫂
That is the single best thing I know when I'm sick....take a small stool and sit in the shower for 30-40 minutes. The stiffness in the body soften ups so nice and you relax!
loved the video. please make more
I watched the tokyo creative episode first and didnt know at all you were ill, bless you! Great video, definitely want to plan a trip!
The only play I'd go to in Japan during summer would be the furthest Northern reaches of Hokkaido to avoid the crazy heat lol
I miss konbini, they were such a great part of my Japan vacation
at 13:18 I thought I was watching another type of video for a second...
What a fun job!! Thanks for sharing❤

Would love to know the origin story of the salute myself, but ja ne (じゃあね) basically means "see ya"
@@MrEFreestoneThanks!
Great trip ❤
Watching your video "exploring Japan is my job!" me: staring at the wall in my house. Hope you get better soon.
That UWU was spot on. 😃👍🏻👍🏻

I’m surprised you were able to be so energetic while being sick! Mushroom power?
Wow umikiro park looks dreamy!
