I feel like your songs are a sound track to our family. When I was younger I was wondering why my grandma would always take walks - and now I am her. After I’m done I feel like I’m a super athlete 😂
I always enjoyed walking in the suburbs and country, even when I was little. Looking at trees is one of my hobbies. The park is my favorite place.

I'm a Gen Xer and a parent, and can totally relate to nearly every video you post. My life has improved a lot since finding your channel simply because I am laughing so much more. And I love how you are able to find humor in mundane everyday activities. Please don't stop doing what you do!

Our pup LOVES going for stalks not walks. She will be super excited to leave the house so she can walk to a friend's house and sit and stare at it. While I slowly melt in the sun...

I don't know if the poop bags is something you two actually disagree on. However, as someone who doesn't personally have a dog I 1000% agree with Kim on this one. Don't put your poop bags in my trashcan!!! Clean up after your own damn dog. Love the song!
I don't care if they put it in my trash can if it's not left in my yard..
When we used to live on a street, people used to put dirty doggie bags in my RECYCLING can on trash day. Eww,

As a dog owner, I'm truly grateful when someone offers me their trashcan so I don't have to lug that hot pile of poo!

Gotta love Golden’s they’re so silly and lovable! Ours hasn’t done this to us…yet. She is goofy in her own way as in she refuses to poop in anyone else’s yard but hers. I guess it’s like wanting to use your own bathroom 😂
trust me, this is a lot better than dogs who refuse to poop in their own yard, because if something upsets their tummy there's no way to properly clean your neighbor's yard!

I am currently pup sitting my parents’ dog, also named Sunny. He didn’t want to go on his walk either. I managed down the block where he pooped, gave up dragging him so we went home. I did bring the poop bag back home to throw away in my parents’ designated poop trash can.

Classic golden retriever move. Ours would stop mid walk and refuse to go one step further. We’d have to have someone come and pick her up and take her home. Hysterical! Great video, loved this one. ❤
My chihuahua does this too. Thank goodness he's only 5lbs and I can just pick him up myself.. but boy, when he refuses to move, it's the classic toddler "limp noodle" move...
@@erikaswanson7072Umm yes....was going to comment that our Chihuahua was probably the most notorious for mid-walk refusal lol. We also had a pitbull rescued dog...and she would walk rain or shine hot or cold!

Kim, thank you for not letting Penn put the poop bag in the neighbor’s trash can! It gets so stinky in the summer heat. Gotta schlep it back to your own trash can! (Or start a petition for doggie poop bag disposals throughout your neighborhood…, we’ve got a dog so I feel ya)

🤣🤣🤣I always feel so seen in these!! Love the Merlin Ap. Also, you probably already know this, but within the last year I just realized that little clip on the poop bag dispenser serves as a way to attach used bags. I find this super handy if I knew I wouldn’t encounter a trash can for awhile.

Great vid🤣! I must be weird ... we tend to walk evenings to not think about stuff(like grocery lists etc) .. we usually observe flowers blooming or how the sunset is looking 😉

I totally drop the poop bag in other people's trash can that's been put out to be picked up already! But I also offer other passerby to put theirs in our trash can by the house.
I don't see the problem if the trash is going to be picked up anyway. The yards that get me say no pooping...my dog can't quite squeeze their buttcheeks to get to the next yard lol. But I always pick it up!
This is too good. This is a reflection of my life.
So help me there is a person who lets their dog poop in my yard and never cleans up after them. Thank you for recognizing we live in a society. Love the song! We always have the best talks while walking.
Some of my neighbors think it's dogs, but really it's from the deer, foxes, and coyotes. 💩

If you want to be extra petty and you know where they live you can always just dump it in their yard or on their porch 😂

Our golden retriever is good for about 1/8 of a mile in the TN summer, but in the winter he is unstoppable

Every time we walk through the neighborhood I threaten to bring a pair of clippers to trim overhanging branches on the sidewalk. Haven't done it yet, but definitely get more judgy on a walk!

Loves this video and the turns it took. What your puppy was doing (refusing to go any further) is common to the breed. I've seen several videos lately from people with that exact breed who are out walking and the dog lays down and refuses to go any further. The guy has to pick it up and carry it back to the car or back home. Too funny. Thanks for a Saturday laugh!
May want to check thhe golden's health, in that case. Probably personal paranoia, but our first golden never did that and lived to be 14. Our 2nd golden would stop on walks constantly or refuse to move. We thought it was the heat or thyroid problems. Two years later we found out she had cancer and she died at the age of 9. Apparently it's common in goldens now 😢

I'm sorry, it is a MILLION DEGREES in Maryland, and I think it must be hotter down where you are... Maybe the humidity isn't as bad? I would die trying to go for walks this time of year. Even after dinner.

The "loop" by our house is about 3.6 miles and passes at most 6 houses. We enjoy it but it's certainly not an every night thing! However, our corgi has the same response as your dog this time of year.

We have rec centers with huge walking tracks...plus they're air conditioned and safe. Try to look for some places in your community :)

Ours had some underlying hip issues it turned out....Make sure your pup is all good hip wise and temperature wise. Loved our pittie...15 years sure do miss that girl. ❤

As a birder I cracked up at the Merlin reference. Also once I tripped on a sidewalk and broke my leg and a friend in the neighborhood saw it happen and drove me home. And then apparently went after the homeowner and got them to fix the sidewalk, completely unbeknownst to me. Genuine safety problems definitely need to be fixed. On the other hand for other stuff, I may be Gen X, but nothing annoys me more than judgey neighbors and HOAs, haha. I really want to move and never live in an HOA again.
I tripped on a crack in the sidewalk about 20 years ago. Shoulder aches every once in awhile. Also landed on the other one years later!! 😢

I totally agree about sidewalks whenever I go on a power chair “walk” down to get ice cream there’s a tree we’re I go that I have to go so slow otherwise my chair will tip
