It is nice video. In my opinion, math is the archetype of all fiction. So every characters powers should be compared by using mathematics. But, I have two points which is about the opposition to your opinion. 1. Tier 12 is not well-defined. Our reality is 3-dimensional spacially, and 3+1 dimensional as space-time continuum. So 11-A~11-C are represented to 2~0 dimensional things. And in VS Battle Wiki, reality-fiction transcendence is assessed as just as one-dimensionally higher than the object. Thinking contrary, Just fiction in fiction can be just 2 dimensional thing. But because the space in fiction is showed easily, it can be assessed as more inferior than 0 dimension. What I want to say is this: It needs more clear definition to use the term, tier 12. It is very nice concepts to think about characters like SCP-2747 or 3143, but it needs more arguements and discussions. 2. There is some misconceptions about Reinhardt/Berkely cardinal. Speaking simply, Reinhardt/Berkely cardinal does not 'break' axioms. It can't exists in ZFC, but also defined large cardinal axioms. Berkely cardinal and V=Ultimate L are both suggested by Hugh Woodin, who is the docter at mathematics. Reinhardt/Berkely cardinal EMR looks like type 4 multiverse, but I think it is not mathematical but philosophical. It needs more academic informations to be used in VS battle logically. I think when VSBW says Inaccesible cardinal. They meant Inaccesible cardinals of dimensions. And when Csap says you have to transcend concepts to become a certain tier like outer. I think they meant the Conceptual Dimensional "Space".
This video was extremely well made and well explained, I also like how you compare the two tiering system while giving both of them credits and not being biased towards one another while giving a good and detailed explanation as to how both tiering system works.

Murphy's law being a tier 12 is weird example because while fictional he had a nasty habit of hijacking stories of dimensions higher than him and turning them into Noire plots which technically made him meta fictional. Personally I would have gone with SCP-423 , the self inserting character or SCP-085, a hand drawn Cassy. Both are fictional but atleast they can't mess with higher dimensions.
Murphy's law is below fiction yet can flatten even 3D fictional characthers. At base, he is 12-A, but can also be much higher, at least 9-C level as he can flatten any human being
@@nyoesman_channel Depending on what SCP Murphy's Law Feats are... I don't know that SCP too well. If he's a Meta Narrative Character, then that makes him a 7th Dimension of Existence character... Ability wise. He may have the power but if he's still a normal human, then it's just his power that's 7th DE. Akin to Kumagawa in Madaka Box who's power is 8th DE at the level of Rebirth Dr. Manhatten + higher. But only his power is at that level + some things All Fiction cannot do. Despite, him being a normal human in every way, outside of All Fiction and Book Maker. Compared to Madaka, who is 9th DE, as her billions of Hax can scale up to Type 1 Omnipotence. (This isn't the same mathematical dimensions being spoken of in this video. That is the Infinite Dimensions which caps from 1st DE up to 6th DE. While Zero DE and 7th DE to 9th DE are beyond mathematical scaling.)
Outerversal is just generally nonsensical. There are like 137 different definitions for it and almost all of them are inconsistent and don't make any sense. Most power scalers don't even have consistent views on what they perceive outerversal to even be which doesn't help its case. Not to mention that it's really just a buzzword lol, people throw the word around without even knowing what it means. This character does this? They're outerversal, this character does that? They're outerversal.
I assume the dimensionality of concepts is verse-dependent. Like, if a verse is capped at 3D, the concept is 4D or higher depending on what's specified or not. This is all just speculation from me.

with anything over tier 1, what really makes any character objectively more powerful than the last? they are all capable of instantaneously doing whatever they please. i say the word "boundless" is just fine as long as their feats back it up and they dont use fallacies. all the mathematical jargon that barely 0.01% of the community really understands (and do they really if they claim to?) seems unnecessary. just say theyre boundless. it works for me
That’s exactly why it is the way it is in the first place. Power scaling isn’t about defining strength. But just having your character capable of beating up everyone else’s characters. That’s why it’s so complicated so that not everybody could do it, and people who care way to much about this can say they have the strongest character.
@@R.W.P. The Core 10 Dimensions of Existence from 0 to 9 is much simpler but more complex as it deals with Existence rather than mathematical measures. I could confidently place characters where they actually should be placed at, provided that I know of their Feats.

Tier 12:Flatversal This tier pertains to characters who can create/destroy or affect the whole structure of a lower-dimensional universe, or lower layers/levels of reality.
@elitecamerabuddy You misunderstand, powerscaling dimensions do not concern time but rather are geometrical. Take for example a 2D heightless square and a 3D cube, you can stack an infinite number of the squares but never get close to the cube because infinity times 0 is still zero. Think like this but now put it to 3rd dimensions and 4th dimensions. You can stack an infinite number of cubes in a hyperplane but never get close to constructing a 4D tesseract. There is nothing special about the fourth dimensions and above that make them relevant with time, the logic I used in example 1 goes to example 2 and so on.

I actually have a universe in mind that reaches High Outerversal level+. It’s called an Ultimate Universe or Hyperordinal Universe, which are universes based on Ultimate Operations (A formula in maths that I created that is the closest representation of True Infinity). The formula is: U = (U(U(U…U(♾️)…))). U at base value equals to H♾️(♾️,♾️); with H being known as hyperoperation (‘a’ is the base value, while ‘b’ is the number of transcension over each other in towers). A hyperoperational infinity (H♾️) is basically the same as inaccessible cardinals since the entire operation is basically unsurpassable to any infinity. With this formula, the Ultimate Universe would be High Outerverse Level+ due to its self-transcendental nature as well as making any inaccessible cardinal very little or tiny, as it’s forever transcending itself autonomously, having endless universes with the same properties, as well as even being bigger than any other transcendental universe. So, destroying this Ultimate Universe or being completely above it would make any character boundless in nature, depending on the context, but boundless if they are truly above it. Also, please remember, Ultimate Operations is NOT anywhere else, so this is the only time you’ll ever hear about it.

Not sure for Mathematical Scaling. But for the Core 10 Dimensions of Existence from 0 to 9?... Transcending above physicality and mathematics is either Zero Dimension, 7th DE, 8th DE, or 9th DE. Depending on the context. As for Reality... I require more context. Reality Benders are within the range of 2nd DE up to 6th DE, traditionally. Meta Narrative Characters are 7th DE while all Souls are 8th DE by default. 9th DE is Omnipotence/True Boundless. Zero Dimension is unique as it is Origin. The same dimension in which the Akashic Records was designed from... The true home of Omnipotence, Omni Types, and Omni Factors.
This is where you messed up in the video at the Tier 2 range of the tiering system you can still be universal+ if you destroy a infinite 3-D space as long as it's a space-time continuum meaning destroying an infinte 3D universe as long as it's the entire universe itself as well as the past, present and future within that universe and it doesn't have to be exactly a 4D universe/structure the reason why i say this is because in Tier 2-C the low multiversal range it would be inconsistent to say that you have to destroy finite 4-D spaces that ranges to anywhere at 2 - 1000 universes because if a character destroy 2 - 1000 3-D universes it would scale nowhere if you have to destroy 2-1000 4-D universes so it would be consistent to say that it can be either 2-1000 3-D or 4-D space-time continuums.
Your point is 4d has no tier and your saying it should belong to 2A(high multiversal) because it would be inconsistent, for it to jump from 3d for high multi into 5d for low complex leaving 4d no space for tiering?
That is the 4th wall, as any characters that can interact with non fiction breaks the 4th wall (not instantly make them 4th wall level). Cookie clicker's bakery breaks the 5th wall in the narrative which is a world "real"-er than us, so 5th wall level >>>.... 4th wall level beings like us. Is VSBW seriously the best source you could find, other than many other infinitely greater sources like Omniversal Battlefield Wiki and Top-Strongest Wiki?
It's certainly possible to use multiple websites to reach a conclusion. Here's a few examples of popular characters. Goku across most websites stay consistent at 2-C tier. Anos from 2-C to 2-A mostly. Rimuru same as well. Sung Jin Woo from tier 5 to 1A. Now we have obviously have a problem as throughout multiple websites, he's not consistent. So all in all, you can use multiple websites for information, if they all saying the same thing it's more likely to not be false than if one said this but other said the opposite.
I do have a question about tier 12. What if a verse's cosmology is based on narrative layers, where beings on a higher layer view the characters on lower levels as fictional? Example for such verses would include Unwritten, Umineko and even the SCPverse. What if there was a verse of which most of the characters are casual planet busters, but then later it was revealed that they are just fiction to a higher being? Would that mean that they belong in tier 12?

Boundless tier is a tier and beyond 0 tier is the tier above it. It's literally as simple as that Cardinals are basically counting numbers. They dont represent a value, but rather an amount. For example take a set that contains the numbers 1, 2 ,3, 4. The cardinality of the set will be 4, since there are 4 numbers, and so 4 is a cardinal number. Large cardinals are certain infinite cardinal numbers that have some specific properties. To be a large cardinal, a cardinal must be larger than omega- x (with x being a number). Omega is an ordinal. An ordinal is a number that represents order, instead of value or amount. Just think about 1st and 2nd. They're ordinal numbers. 2nd isnt necessarily larger than 1st, it just comes after 1st. Similarly, omega is an ordinal number that comes after every single natural numbers. This doesnt mean that omega is larger than all natural numbers, it just means that omega comes after them. After omega is omega+1, then +2, +2 and so on.
@@darkgod6983 by "powerful", I'm assuming you mean "consitency strength". If so, then not really. Von Neumann universe or axiom of constructibility are not the stron axioms. The strongest axiom currently are rank-into-rank cardinal axioms. Also, ultimate V=L isn't an axiom, it's a conjecture, so it doesn't count. By "limitless", do you mean "infinite" or "surpassing everything that exists"?
Well obviously if they’re real then they basically views our world as fiction effectively and can change it however they want. Which puts them above even real world concepts and above fiction and us.
Great video, though I do have a few minor things to point out. 5D is part of low complex multiversal in VSBW, High multi+ not being a thing under that system. As for high hyper, while it was correct for VSBW, it wasn't for CSAP. CSAP'S high hyper includes all infinite levels of dimensionality. VSBW's outer tiers would fall under CSAP's high hyper tier. Thus making the difference between low outer and high hyper under CSAP roughly the same as the difference between high outer and boundless under VSBW.
Tier-13 could be any being which cannot exist in any reality, or fiction of any dimensionality, perhaps not even being able to be conceptualized in full, not because it’s beyond conception but because it is beneath conception, it simply does not and cannot exist. Im not sure what logical fallacy would result from this definition for tier 13 besides perhaps circular reasoning whereby arguing that Tier 13 can’t exist thereby confirms the definition of Tier 13 as something which can’t exist but this doesn’t really seem to be much of an issue because any system which is used in a self referential manner eventually results to circular reasoning at some point, its just a matter of if the circularity has substance to it or if it is empty. In this case I would argue Tier-13 has logical substance because by the definition I have provided it confirms itself even when we attempt to disprove it and not just when it’s attempting to support itself.

Nope, the energy which is generated for creating fictional works is completely possible only because of a 3d being, it by itself has no existence, no energy and no nothing, compared to lower dimensional beings who still have an existence even if they don't have anything else, fiction is a lifeless construct, in a fight between a lifeless being and a living being, by default the living being would be given the victory
True. I Can confirm. I have (Horribly) written a character that soloes 99.99999999999999999999999999% of fiction (While still having enough personality that it makes them not a mary sue, the Character doesn't exist for a power fantasy where they can fulfil all (just some) fantasies they want, they are made to suffer [Just enough so it matters, but not enough to make them unecessarily edgy] (And make others suffer ["Others" being people and Characters I personally don't like the actions of: Such as the Random Power Fantasy Characters of Ao3 that are against consent {I'm looking at you "Viasmos"}]). But not entirely made for suffering or else that would make them an Anti-Sue or another Type of Mary sue [The Overly Edgy Character]. Which would be worse than having a generic mary sue power fantasy char [Some Edgyness is good, but put too much of it and it becomes horrible]) and no one will ever read the story because i'm not dumb enough to actually post it and make people read through my horrible writing.

Cuz if they ascend to the real world the scale would just repeat itself. If a boundless character in a stimulation ascended to the “real world”, they will just become the normal scale in that world. Basically if they become the same power as a human in the “real world”, they will just be human level 2.0

negative dimensions seem to exist mathematically, but from my very limited understanding a negative spatial dimension doesn't really exist, nor does it matter in powerscaling, as in it wouldn't be something u could powerscale with.
I think the reason that tier 12 does not exist is because some fictional worlds within fiction within fiction are counted as the base world and follows transcendent tiering. But I think if that character is truly fiction stated by the story to not be some sort of magical world it could work

You'll probably need to learn some of them. i suggest bringing up the vsbw tiering system to see where the dimensions scale Dimensions From each dimension to the next, there is mathematically any number of infinity that doesn't break boundaries. So infinite 1D is not 2D. But that is only when assuming each lower dimensional planet has no "mass" as so to say. Using this way, aleph 0 number of 0D points is equivalent to 1D, aleph 0 1D is equivalent to 2D, aleph 1 0D is equal to 2D, you get the pattern. These are the two ways you can scale. The former being (aleph n of x)D < (x+1)D, and the latter (aleph 0 of 0D)=1D. The correct way is the former according to the tiering system, as we have tiers like universal+ and multiversal+, with the + meaning infinite. But some people use the latter, and it still gets accepted by moderators. 1-A, H1-A and tier 0 For these their unless the infinity breaks boundaries, it will never reach these tiers. Only infinities that are large enough cardinals can reach here, idk their names and it is debated on where they scale as these tiers are a hot mess of thinking what transcends the other. Research Large Cardinals to understand. But anyway, 1-A is transcendence, and we split it into meta transcendence and transcendence. Meta transcendence is transcending but on an absolute level even above transcending, and transcending is basically absolutely above for the lower powers. Transcending gives you 1-A, and transcending 1-A gets 1-A+ and so on, so infinity doesn't really matter. For H1-A you need to meta-transcend, which is done by being above everything, except this is where the current tiering system contradicts itself, because it says you can get H1-A+, which should be possible with the definition of H1-A, but this is for when an even higher hierarchy beyond the highest hierarchy is formed which gets H1-A, and transcending an infinite hierarchy of 1-A is considered H1-A. And tier 0 is just broken, its basically saying it cannot be beaten no matter what even if you're the author of that story, and every tier 0 character when they fight will merge, and characters that have equivalent power through statements and feats are disqualified of they don't have x and x features that have nothing to do with power but more to resemble an apophatic god, so you can just ignore the vsbw definition.

It is nice video. In my opinion, math is the archetype of all fiction. So every characters powers should be compared by using mathematics. But, I have two points which is about the opposition to your opinion.
1. Tier 12 is not well-defined.
Our reality is 3-dimensional spacially, and 3+1 dimensional as space-time continuum. So 11-A~11-C are represented to 2~0 dimensional things. And in VS Battle Wiki, reality-fiction transcendence is assessed as just as one-dimensionally higher than the object. Thinking contrary, Just fiction in fiction can be just 2 dimensional thing. But because the space in fiction is showed easily, it can be assessed as more inferior than 0 dimension.
What I want to say is this: It needs more clear definition to use the term, tier 12. It is very nice concepts to think about characters like SCP-2747 or 3143, but it needs more arguements and discussions.
2. There is some misconceptions about Reinhardt/Berkely cardinal.
Speaking simply, Reinhardt/Berkely cardinal does not 'break' axioms. It can't exists in ZFC, but also defined large cardinal axioms. Berkely cardinal and V=Ultimate L are both suggested by Hugh Woodin, who is the docter at mathematics. There is nice paper about it which I want to recommend:

Murphy's law being a tier 12 is weird example because while fictional he had a nasty habit of hijacking stories of dimensions higher than him and turning them into Noire plots which technically made him meta fictional. Personally I would have gone with SCP-423 , the self inserting character or SCP-085, a hand drawn Cassy. Both are fictional but atleast they can't mess with higher dimensions.
Murphy's law is below fiction yet can flatten even 3D fictional characthers. At base, he is 12-A, but can also be much higher, at least 9-C level as he can flatten any human being

Outerversal is just generally nonsensical. There are like 137 different definitions for it and almost all of them are inconsistent and don't make any sense. Most power scalers don't even have consistent views on what they perceive outerversal to even be which doesn't help its case. Boundless or tier 0 is my prefered way to say it but i follow csap bcs of its proper way of defining things without making it complex.
I assume the dimensionality of concepts is verse-dependent. Like, if a verse is capped at 3D, the concept is 4D or higher depending on what's specified or not. This is all just speculation from me.

@elitecamerabuddy You misunderstand, powerscaling dimensions do not concern time but rather are geometrical. Take for example a 2D heightless square and a 3D cube, you can stack an infinite number of the squares but never get close to the cube because infinity times 0 is still zero. Think like this but now put it to 3rd dimensions and 4th dimensions. You can stack an infinite number of cubes in a hyperplane but never get close to constructing a 4D tesseract. There is nothing special about the fourth dimensions and above that make them relevant with time, the logic I used in example 1 goes to example 2 and so on.

I actually have a universe in mind that reaches High Outerversal level+.
It’s called an Ultimate Universe or Hyperordinal Universe, which are universes based on Ultimate Operations (A formula in maths that I created that is the closest representation of True Infinity).
The formula is: U = (U(U(U…U(♾️)…))).
U at base value equals to H♾️(♾️,♾️); with H being known as hyperoperation (‘a’ is the base value, while ‘b’ is the number of transcension over each other in towers). A hyperoperational infinity (H♾️) is basically the same as inaccessible cardinals since the entire operation is basically unsurpassable to any infinity.
With this formula, the Ultimate Universe would be High Outerverse Level+ due to its self-transcendental nature as well as making any inaccessible cardinal very little or tiny, as it’s forever transcending itself autonomously, having endless universes with the same properties, as well as even being bigger than any other transcendental universe. It's certainly possible to use multiple websites to reach a conclusion.
Here's a few examples of popular characters. Goku across most websites stay consistent at 2-C tier. Anos from 2-C to 2-A mostly. Rimuru same as well. Sung Jin Woo from tier 5 to 1A. Now we have obviously have a problem as throughout multiple websites, he's not consistent.
So all in all, you can use multiple websites for information, if they all saying the same thing it's more likely to not be false than if one said this but other said the opposite.

I do have a question about tier 12.
What if a verse's cosmology is based on narrative layers, where beings on a higher layer view the characters on lower levels as fictional? Example for such verses would include Unwritten, Umineko and even the SCPverse. What if there was a verse of which most of the characters are casual planet busters, but then later it was revealed that they are just fiction to a higher being? Would that mean that they belong in tier 12?

5D is part of low complex multiversal in VSBW, High multi+ not being a thing under that system.
As for high hyper, while it was correct for VSBW, it wasn't for CSAP. CSAP'S high hyper includes all infinite levels of dimensionality. VSBW's outer tiers would fall under CSAP's high hyper tier. Thus making the difference between low outer and high hyper under CSAP roughly the same as the difference between high outer and boundless under VSBW.
Tier-13 could be any being which cannot exist in any reality, or fiction of any dimensionality, perhaps not even being able to be conceptualized in full, not because it’s beyond conception but because it is beneath conception, it simply does not and cannot exist.
Im not sure what logical fallacy would result from this definition for tier 13 besides perhaps circular reasoning whereby arguing that Tier 13 can’t exist thereby confirms the definition of Tier 13 as something which can’t exist but this doesn’t really seem to be much of an issue because any system which is used in a self referential manner eventually results to circular reasoning at some point, its just a matter of if the circularity has substance to it or if it is empty. From each dimension to the next, there is mathematically any number of infinity that doesn't break boundaries. So infinite 1D is not 2D. But that is only when assuming each lower dimensional planet has no "mass" as so to say. Using this way, aleph 0 number of 0D points is equivalent to 1D, aleph 0 1D is equivalent to 2D, aleph 1 0D is equal to 2D, you get the pattern. These are the two ways you can scale. The former being (aleph n of x)D < (x+1)D, and the latter (aleph 0 of 0D)=1D.
The correct way is the former according to the tiering system, as we have tiers like universal+ and multiversal+, with the + meaning infinite. But some people use the latter, and it still gets accepted by moderators.
1-A, H1-A and tier 0
For these their unless the infinity breaks boundaries, it will never reach these tiers. Only infinities that are large enough cardinals can reach here, idk their names and it is debated on where they scale as these tiers are a hot mess of thinking what transcends the other. Research Large Cardinals to understand. But anyway, 1-A is transcendence, and we split it into meta transcendence and transcendence. Meta transcendence is transcending but on an absolute level even above transcending, and transcending is basically absolutely above for the lower powers. Transcending gives you 1-A, and transcending 1-A gets 1-A+ and so on, so infinity doesn't really matter. For H1-A you need to meta-transcend, which is done by being above everything, except this is where the current tiering system contradicts itself, because it says you can get H1-A+, which should be possible with the definition of H1-A, but this is for when an even higher hierarchy beyond the highest hierarchy is formed which gets H1-A, and transcending an infinite hierarchy of 1-A is considered H1-A.
And tier 0 is just broken, its basically saying it cannot be beaten no matter what even if you're the author of that story, and every tier 0 character when they fight will merge, and characters that have equivalent power through statements and feats are disqualified of they don't have x and x features that have nothing to do with power but more to resemble an apophatic god, so you can just ignore the vsbw definition.
