Broken cvds are going to be worth those 2 extra degrees and all the weight. Also since you like dravtech shocks you think you would have went for the ones they make for the utb18
I'm finishing up a build on my xmaxx with a hobbywing max5 and an 800KV motor. Turned it all on and my receiver is flashing red but everything works. What do I do for green?
those shocks are way to big . its not a monster truck . it needs the suspenion way way down or it will just keep fallin over . stop at 9 seconds in . thays how it needs to be at . ruclips.net/video/8i3KbHBZmnM/видео.html . where the servo hits the frame it needs to be trimed to get the axle down futher . longer front links with sway bar will also be needed . reefs 99 servo should be plenty of power and get that front down . for tires 1.55 mud slingers on raceline combat beadlocks would look awsome .
Definitely try some Deez Bands on that thing. For tires you might try the class 0 Krawlers or the Class 1 Tusks and I think SL3D has inserts for those too.
Idk I’d take everything but the shocks looks to high. Axles look killer. Put stock shocks back on with no springs. The axles will drop down to whatever it needs. Especially those ones. Stock tires are decent though on these been surprised how sticky they are it is a big boy RC for a 1/18
biggest problem with this toy is the front suspention is out of wack . thats why they are calling it a trail buggy not a bouncer . look at tim camerons solid axle bouncers and they are all seup same way . the bottom links need to be leval with the axles stop at 9 seconds and you can see what im talking about . ruclips.net/video/8i3KbHBZmnM/видео.html the only way thats gonna happin here is you would have to cut off where the servo nhits the frame till you have room to make it happen . just by lookin at it , thats not happening till you use a micro servo and longer front links and short shocks . or some one makes a front clip wich can be done .
The Dlux ubt18 ultra short shocks are what you want for the ultimate shock setup for this rig 😉
So glad you decided to try RCAWD
Intro is really working!
Looking grate. Hello everyone winding down 2022...whoohoooo
If you want to get rid of the stock plastic axle housings I would love to use them for mockup on a project...

Thank you
Joe dravetech has great new shocks for the UTB Capra 90 bucks for 4 I think 🇬🇧🇺🇲🕊️👍🏼
Brilliant video mate love it 😀👍
I got dlux fab shocks for my mini capra.
Those are awesome great video
I think after some fine tuning that little crawler should be just as fun as a 1/10 scale!
What shocks are those? I can’t seem to find them on the site

Check out priceys custom crawlers they r making all sorts of stuff for this utb 18
You need to put the softest spring under the piston
I have no idea about these things.
@@ExocagedRC I like the suspension being compressed rather than having a taller rig all of the time
I would be willing to take the old plastic housings off your hands for a scaler build. Always top notch content!

what shock do u suggest for the . In the market myself. Thanks
After adding this much weight, would you recommend upgrading motor?
Hi Joe such a SHAME u could use front axle on back for rear stear. Great upgrades thanks for posting SIR 🇬🇧🇺🇲🕊️✌🏼👍🏼
Put 1.9 class 0 krawlers on mine, works wonders and the tire is not too big
What is the front to rear weight ratio?
Get some Dlux Fab shocks

I'm confused. I see stuff from RC4WD and stuff from RCAWD. Are they the same company or different?
👍😁
You did grease it, right dumb question I know
TBH, there are no 'dumb questions'. Only dumb answers!🤪😆
No I didn't
