I remember being able to listen to these on AM radio in the 1990s. Man do I miss it!

Love these so much better then t.v. I like that too but this is takes some imagination ,thank you for these how many episodes are there?
This particular episode cracked me up the first time I heard it. LOVE OTR> Love X Minus One ... Dimension X, all those Ray Bradbury (RIP) episodes which were great.
It's awesome for me to imagine how much work was done doing these episodes. They sound great and the voice acting is impressive. Thanks for sharing.

Clifford Simak was a GREAT Author. I read this short story about 3 months ago, so its a joy to listen to a Radio Version.
Thank you for posting this. I used to listen to The Golden Age of Radio Theatre all the time, and "X Minus One" was one of my favorites.

No one has ever accused X Minus One of being a knowledge trap, that's for sure.

I can hear a bit of Kirk in the captain's enunciation. Maybe, Shatner heard this in his childhood and it grabbed his mind and wiped it clean. MacGyver? He can fix anything
Interestingly this seems to be a prequel to an earlier episode (one of the very first episodes of Dimension X, later recreated as an X Minus One episode as nearly all of these were). The reference to "Space Blues" and the character of "Bat-Ears" Brady are both familiar from that episode, whose exact name I can't remember, but which is pretty definitely set later, since it ends with all the characters either turning out to be alien invaders, or being assassinated by same in order to keep their cover-up intact. I assume both episodes were based on the same author's writings; I'll have to investigate.
How's Klein? He's fine, I made him some toys, he's playing with them.
Wad da fug id dis egg ting?
I thought I understood but I don't. Why did the crew become non human? Oh, and is the egg the inspiration for alien?
The way I understand it is that they absorbed the personalities of the aliens along with their memories. I don't see why that would change them physically though, and leaving them behind because of that seems pretty racist to me.
Alien knowledge turns you alien, apparently. Sure, it makes no sense, but you have no gimmick ending without it.
what is this? how is this inresting?
You're not drunk enough ; )
Ha ha ha they have to get drunk to survive getting off the planet .
shhhh
a really funny episode LOL (worst drunk act ever. :}
