This was only the fifth episode of X-1 not to feature a retread of a Dimension X story. A good choice IMO; Simak was one of the greats. Obviously very of its time, with an all male crew, a literal rocket blasting off, an assumption of casual drunkenness and a captain who rules with an iron fist. But as long as you don't bump on such obsolete tropes, I think it's a damn fine story.
This is the same crew from the story, Courtesy. Batier, Brady, and Ira
I think so.
Bat Ears Brady's personality has certainly improved from the Courtesy episode. I guess he learned some humility, lol.
If they go back with a load of alcohol they can learn more . But you'd have to be drunk in the egg library .
Only episode MacGyver didn’t have his trusty Duct tape and all was lost.
