3 things that Traeger should do to benefit the buyers. At the prices you charging all pellet grills should had the fold up shelf on them already. ANd why in the world do you make a large pellet grill, 885 and 1300 and give us only 1 probe? I love the cooking from my Ironwood but, for what I paid id think you could have covered these two items. 3rd make top taller for more usage on top shelf.
Had a Traeger Bronson 20 for 3 years and was very satisified, but the cookingspace became too small for my needs, so I recently updated to a Pro D2 780. I am very pleased so far.
I own a Timberline 1300… I’ve never received so many compliments from so many different people from backyard barbecues to major barbecues to barbecue competitions. It cooks consistently, solid flavor.
We are having a home built with an outdoor kitchen area on the lanai. Even though the builder is trying to get me to go with gas, I’ve always preferred charcoal grills. A good friend of my swears by Traeger grills and I believe I am ready to up my game to pellet grills and have decided to go with the Timberline 1300. With that said, does Traeger offer any design plans for installing their grills in built-in outdoor kitchens? I’ve been unsuccessful in finding any RUclips videos on outdoor kitchens that feature Traeger grills permanently installed. Since I’ve never used one before, I want to make sure my designs take into account the unique aspects of things like the exhaust, drip pan access, the pellet hopper, etc…
As a previous Traeger user, I switched to Asmoke and I couldn't be happier. The precision of the temperature control on Asmoke really impressed me, the FlameTech patent ensures temperature control within 5°F and the remote temperature adjustment and food temperature monitoring made grilling a breeze. But what really made Asmoke stand out to me was the portability. The rechargeable battery offers up to 10 hours of runtime which makes it perfect for outings. I've used it on camping trips and tailgating events and it's been a game-changer. And the fact that the pellets come in various flavors adds an extra layer of deliciousness to my food. The transition to Asmoke has truly changed my grilling experience and I can't recommend it enough. #Asmoke
My Pro22 traeger is garbage had it 8 months paint has all pealed off now the whole thing is rusting away. They seem to not care one wit its falling apart after 8 months. I would suggest another brand if I had to try it again.
I started with the pro22 had it for 4 years and no issues with the paint but it was on a covered porch and i still used the cover but 4 years later i sold it and upgraded
I have a Pro that is over 12 years old. Love it but looking to upgrade. Bought the Silverton and absolutely hated it! I returned it to Costco. Definitely do not recommend the Silverton. Was super disappointing on how it cooked and preformed.
As a previous Traeger user, I can definitely say that making the switch to Asmoke has been a game-changer. I love the convenience and consistency that the Asmoke grill offers. The digital controller allows me to set and maintain my desired cooking temperature, giving me precise control over the grilling process. Plus, the variety of wood pellet flavors adds an extra dimension to the taste of my food. The portability of the Asmoke Essential is a huge bonus too - it's perfect for outings, camping, tailgating, and more. The battery life is impressive and the recharge time is fast, making it ideal for all-day events. I appreciated the detailed comparison in your post, it really highlights the advantages of Asmoke over other grills. #Asmoke
This is my reply to a follow up email from traeger my grill is still not working only been able to use it a few times, everytime there is a problem! Dont buy this piece of crap This call did not solve the problem. The grill is still seeing auger issues! It won't ignite and is not functioning at all. I am requesting my money back from this lemon product which i have had nothing but one problem after another since i purchased it from true value last year. I have called true value to complain and they are going to escalate this to a higher level and perhaps this will convince them not to carry your products any longer. Your expensive pellets are made from sawdust that disintegrates over time and turns to dust . This presents a huge problem. I had several bags of brand new traeger pellets I stored under my carport for the last 3 months unopened off the ground and covered with a tarp under a carport and they all turned to moist powder. The moist powder that clogged the grill. I ended up spending/wasting $90 dollars worth of sawdust from trager!!! I will make this information available on all social media platforms I can think of and make a you tube video warning people about your products unless you do the right thing and refund my money. I don't want to give this any more chances. I'm fed up calling your lousy customer support every time I want to use this problematic grill. Today I was on the phone for almost 2 hours with several different guys, the last one named Oscar. When I should have been doing other things, Your grills are maintenance headaches! Your pellets are sawdust! Sincerely, JT
I guess the entire barbecue world must not know what they’re doing and be tricked by such mastery of magic. They do exactly what they say. They cook food consistently with good smoke flavor… Been using a Timberline 1300 for three years, I have had nothing but compliments after many years of using offset smokers.
Bought a Rectec 4 years ago. Use it at least once a week. No problems at all. I guess I was turned off of traeger due to how chintzy their heat deflector, burn pot and grease tray are. Once you’ve seen a traeger side by side with a Rectec you will see what I mean.
DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE GRILLS!!! I spent over 1000 dollars on it, and it has been the biggest waste of money. Everything comes out looking raw and has the texture of rubber,... Do not be fooled by these videos.
The app does a fair amount. You can use a recipe buy tapping it and it will load the times and temps onto the program. Just prep the food and run the program someone else made. If you are using new Meater probes, it got even easier to use.
I assemble all Treager grills for a hardware store. They are cheap Chinese made junk. I have to take off the inspection stickers that are all written in Chinese. Cheap thin metal and cheap bolts. I built 2 of then today. The Tailgater is crap! They won't last over 5 years even if taken care of. The one we use at the shop for grilling events is already rusting and paint flaking off after 2 years. Most only have a 1 year warranty.
I’ve had the pro 575 for about a year now and absolutely love it.

How confusing why would you name your entry level grills “pro”
That's a good point! Maybe it's so that the newbies can feel like professionals? 😎
Because the real professionals don’t need all the tech… they got skills 🤣
So they dont feel bad that they couldn’t afford a better model.

What did you end up buying?
i got the smaller pro series and it’s totally worth it. Great beginner user friendly smoker.
My ironwood has been the best purchase I’ve ever made!
how's the smoke flavor
Whenever I am financially ready to buy a Traegar, I think ironwood would be my choice. Great video and very informative.

Nice try Diddy
These grills are hilarious 😂. A fool and his money... [fill in the blank]
Why on earth would you call the Pro series for the entry level? Thats totally illogical.

Super smoke mode. Or if you just run it at 165 you'll get more smoke anyway. Yes you can run it at 165 with super smoke on.
