    Really great run! I love how all the swords (once fully upgraded) have something they excel at over the others. Really creates some interesting nuances in optimal playstyles.

    Morpho knight sword is op. But I kinda have a thing for not liking op weapons since it turns the strongest of enemies into something thats barely a challenge. Good vid anyways.

      which is why you can only get Morpho Knight sword by defeating the true final boss(Morpho Knight)

      Well stick with the Hammers. They are also OP because of the massive power they have however you have to have good positioning and reflexes to do well with them because they are short ranged.

    Well, Gigant Sword is quite op, I think.
    Because of near-invincible guard. Great for if you want to play very safely, but you gotta give up speedrunning.

    Gosh using the Meta Knight Sword is so much fun! :D The Gigant Sword is total garbage. Lol My best time with the Meta Knight Sword is 09:39.58. :) Interesting enough, the Chaos Elfilis Orb form you can spam the slide jump slash combo on it when it is doing the multi-laser attack. You should try it out some time. It's very effective on it and you don't have to wait and dodge it out.

    You got all of the swords evolved to max power?! I don't know how that's possible, but I wanna try it!
    How many rare stones did it take?

    • @jonokirby
      @jonokirby  2 года назад +2

      I don't remember their base powers, but it costs 2 Star Stones for every upgrade up until 3.5 or 4 Power, 3 Star Stones to get to 4.5 or 5 Power, and from there, 5 Star Stones to get to Star Power, so take that as you will.

      @@GMKGoji01 Cutter in particular was absolute hell, cause both base Cutter and Chakram Cutter start at 1 Power EACH.

      @@jonokirby I'll say. First time I upgraded Meta Knight Sword, I thought it needed 5 upgrades to reach max power. But then I remembered it costed 3 rare stones, hence it starts at 3 power, and realized that it only needed 3 upgrades (2 for +1, 3 for +2, and 5 for +⭐️). And I was like… "Oh."
      *"Welp! I guess I'll beat the Ultimate Cup!"*
      Not really. I just…found more rare stones in Isolated Dreams.

    Is there a limit to how long you can hold the guard button?

    • @jonokirby
      @jonokirby  2 года назад +1

      I don't believe there is, but unless you're using any Ice or Gigant Sword, there's a pretty big risk for guarding attacks, especially long lasting attacks like Gorimondo's spin cycle, or stupidly high damaging moves like Orb Phase Chaos Elfilis' lasers (seriously, that shit does SO much more than it should).

    It seems at times Phantom Meta Knight can be just as tough as or tougher than Morpho Knight.

    • @jonokirby
      @jonokirby  5 месяцев назад +1

      There's definitely some abilities where it actually is, as Phantom Meta Knight is actually a lot more aggressive compared to Morpho Knight, and even has a higher damage output by comparison, with Triple Force Falls and Upper Calibur easily doing nearly half your HP if not more. That being said, Morpho Knight really tends to be harder to fight if the ability you're using can't land their attacks easily since teleporting out of range is definitely a lot better than being able to dodge attacks. Just comes down to how well you deal with their offense versus their defense.

      @@jonokirbyI’ve also noticed that when using any of the ice powers, both knights are usually difficult to freeze because of how fast they move around.🧊🥶

      @@Hermit_Ronin I uploaded a video recently regarding me trying all the Ices again, both Knights are indeed nightmarishly hard to try and freeze.

      @@jonokirbyThanks for uploading that ice rerun video. It seems to me that fire powers work better against the knights because of the burning effect and it’s harder for them to avoid. The burning effect is like still attacking without actively fighting. And Dragon Fire is the most aggressive and damaging. Volcano Fire is almost equal to that. Base Fire is nearly as good as the volcano, except for the slightly shorter range.🔥🌋🐲🥵

    • @jonokirby
      @jonokirby  2 месяца назад

      @@Hermit_Ronin The general problem is that the afterburn doesn't do much damage in the long run. You have to land the fire for a long time to get any afterburn damage worth your salt.
      Also ironically, I think Base Fire is slightly worse than Dragon Fire, but Volcano Fire is significantly worse than Base. I made a tier list video for these abilities, and although some opinions changed since then, my thoughts on Fire sure hasn't.

    Morpho Knight Sword can lifesteal?

    • @jonokirby
      @jonokirby  2 года назад

      Whenever finishing ground combos, it can steal a bit of health in the form of tiny orbs (normally you'd be near them to pick them up). How much health you get back dependa on sword size since that directly determines your damage output.
