Thank you for the recap! You really opened up a deeper perspective of the story of Jonah that goes beyond the "norm" of what we know and always hear about Jonah's story. Even the discussion of mercy and grace that God gave to the people of Nineveh, God gave that same mercy and grace to Jonah, but he felt the way that he felt which is interesting. I think one thing that Jonah's story displays is the honesty of not wanting to do what God commands. The prophets were not perfect, went through trials, and dealt with harsh situations. The fish and boat is a fantastic addition. This was refreshing! ❤
@@authenticallybria Reading through this book was really eye opening for me and convicting. I love how you mentioned how this story displays the honesty of not wanting to do what God commands. It’s so easy to see the people of the Bible as almost “perfect” or unattainable but we are all so much more alike than we think. 💕
@@christinefoss5767 I searched on Pinterest for boat and fish drawings and just created based on a few! I sketched it out first on tracing paper to see if it would fit how I wanted! Thanks for watching!
