Now see what brand he plays (usually) and you will know why (probably one of the reasons) Haraguchi-san (Nemophila) plays Sadowsky. - The style in which MtH plays is Crossover.
FYI: RYO, the guitar player, said that one of his main influence has been SOAD! But that's not all, because each member has different musicians influence that make the band unique. Even Futoshi, the bassist, love Flea form RHCP!
Not my style of music, but been trying - with mixed success - to get friends who are into this to check them out, too! 👍😎 What I like about almost everything out of japan is they don't give a f#ck about what anyone else is doing, or thinks - they're going to what THEY want and have fun doing it, and screw anyone who doesn't like it.
The video tells the story of a band that plays in industrial halls with little equipment, then shoots cool CGI videos and ends up as commercial pop punk rock, where at least one of the band is upset that their songs are being downloaded illegally. And Greg's reference to SOKONINARU is excellent. really good reaction.
SOAD don't have the deathcore elements nor the screaming screeches that MTH brings to the table. And certainly they don't have any of the punk elements nor the Mr. Bungle kind of sludgy metals that MTH brings. MTH definitely has a wider range of singing style compared to SOAD. I have never heard of punk,funk, nu metals, death core and pop rock genre in one single song and MTH has done that all the time.

Lots of comparisons to SOAD, and I'm a SOAD fan, but MTH is way wilder and more diverse in what they do. Like I said, best punk metal band.
