In Malaysia hot weather, no rear aircond. You up the price to almost 300k and no feature similar to x50 that sell for lesser. What a failure. This is not an upgrade. A downgrade. I was looking forward to upgrade my C class to suv but Merc 2021 is a failure. 🤦🏻♂️
Excellent review, Hafriz! Really great car but the specs for the Malaysian market are a huge let down, especially given the steep asking price. No rear air con vents, no adaptive cruise, no 360 camera. Pathetic.
Disappointed.. I owned 3 Mercedes and 3 BMW before.. Even the last GLA 250 FL.. But this GLA 250 really disappointing.. Why can’t they just offer the same level of specs like the Proton X50? No 360 Camera, no rear Aircond, no Adaptive Cruise Control with Traffic Jam Assist.. So sad..
The best part is probably now the new GLA200/250 front seats are much higher and rear leg room spacier if compared to the earlier GLA200/250 models. Also Renault engine model for GLA200 ? The Merc GLA250 engine is the better bet here.

Much better design compared to the older model. Like he mentioned, its more of an SUV now with more interior space in the cabin. But the lack of a 360 degree camera and rear air-cond vents are downright absurd. Cmon man, you are spending a quarter of a million ringgit and you cant even get those??
The older one looks so sporty.. this new one looks roundish and weird. Not exactly a step up from the last model... just look at the specs and you'll understand.

We finally got new locally-assembled A-Class Sedan and GLA! Yay! Is there rear aircon vents? Nope!

Gla200 look so plain... looks like XC40 looks better. Still waiting the new CLA200 from MBM, even though they have launched CLA45
