You customers have google, almost all of these questions can be answered there, you can’t just expect every employee to be knowledgeable about every liquor that is in the store and to be able to provide tasting notes or recommendations
That's literally their job. Not saying all the products but it should be the majority of them. I use to work at a pot shop and we would have monthly training on the new products and farms we were selling.
I didn't expect every employee to know about every product. At best I expect the wine person to know someone who's working that is a bourbon person... Especially when they ask me if I need any help in the bourbon section. They don't need to know everything, just enough to either be helpful or apologize, not lie.
I turn 21 in January. I've never had an experience with Alcohol in my life, but i wanna try it to see whay i might like. Yall got any helpful tips or recommendations?
go off of what flavors you like in other foods and drinks, if you wanna get drunk and party, screw flavor, go for percentage and get good tasting chasers
When you drink, don't touch a sip when you feel distressed in anyway, alcohols easy to turn into a coping tool, and some people don't realize it till its too late.
@@jkb8564 Real. I'm half serious, half joking when I say that the day someone turns 21, they get fucked up. It'll lead to two things: 1) They're scarred from it, and don't touch alcohol again 2) It awakens their alcoholic
Your grandma wants her scarf back

Yeah, I agree. It definitely sucks when people expect you to know about the stuff you're selling.

I thought all beer was gluten free, because gluten is just a protein in wheat, not barley.

Sip and enjoy your first drink. Pace yourself and don’t drink on an empty stomach.

"that's ok have a good one" typical millenial
If you've got a problem with gluten, then that's YOUR problem. Not someone standing behind the counter. IMHO. Just sayin'. 😂
