I watched this late at night for the first time; but believe it - I did take chop meat out to defrost that night and made 'just a well-made cheeseburger' for breakfast.
the Menu was a good representation of what the wealthy have done to so many industries and people in them. Chef started because he loved cooking and the joy of him working his first job at the burger joint. ( that we see Margo notice a picture of employee of the month) but his love of cooking turned into a job and only posh people ate it, making it so no one really loved his food they just wanted to pay for the experience ( the wealthy couple having eaten 11 times and still not remember what they ate. they did it because they could not for the food.) it literally took the love out of him as he was forced up the ranks for his skill. so Margo asking for a cheeseburger his first love and seeing her actually enjoy his food for the first time in years I am sure was the ONLY reason she lived. He was just done being a cog in a machine that has stripped all joy of cooking and watching people actually enjoy what they eat. to breaking the machine of perfection and Posh exclusivity with no joy. Great Review of this movie my dude!
Im all for a great food experience, but the main word here is FOOD, lol. Im with u, a steak, a great burger, some potatoes, greens and cornbread, not a dot on my plate of flavor and some foam. Im an old hippie that lives in the country and loves some good hometown southern cookin'. Although, Id love to try Chef Ramseys/Hells Kitchens Beef Wellington, yummy. The wealthy life is not for me. Now Im hungry. Thanx so much, take care, Peace
Hey E, I'm so glad you liked this movie! I remember going to one of these upscale restaurants in Manhattan. It was on a date, and I remember being really hungry afterwards, and as soon as I got home, I raided the fridge, LOL! Great reaction, E, and thank you!
If you can stomach another disturbing food movie, I could suggest The Cook, The Thief, His Wife, & Her Lover (1989). There have been some shorter reviews/discussions on this semi-forgotten film on RUclips, but not a full-length reaction video that I know of!
"How do you bring someone to a Death Date?" 😂 Loving your reactions!!
thank you, I'm happy you enjoyed.

I wanted one after watching!

it's an experience...I guess. I rather have food I actually enjoy. thanks for the support.
@@randomlyreactandreviewfirstEzy I know what you mean. Some of these restaurants are not about enjoying, it's more like works of art. Thanks, E!
