    I might give powerbase a try if i decide to use a helix. Is the ballast real stone or a lighter substitute?

      Hi Kev, Our ballast is a lighter substitute - you can find more here: www.dccconcepts.com/product-category/track-and-track-making-parts/ballast-and-ballasting/

    How do you prevent the magnets being attracted to the rails that cross turnouts?

      Hello Bob, Track is usually made from non-magnetic alloy such as nickel-silver. I hope this helps!

    Is the transcript of this video available on your website, to facilitate easier referral while undertaking the individual steps?

      Unfortunately not. However it is possible to extract the closed captions from any video on RUclips if you Google the process. This will produce a version of what Google thinks was being said so it is worth verifying the script back to the video.

    how do the magnets under the locos react when using the kadee uncoupler magnets?

      Hello David, If the magnet polarity is correct, then they won't interfere with the uncoupling systems.

    What is a Powerbase For? What does it accomplish?

    • @richardbrighton7737
      @richardbrighton7737 2 года назад

      Hi Scotabot! PowerBase is used to assist with locomotive traction, pickup and smooth running by pulling the locomotive down onto the track using magnetism. There are other videos about PowerBase on our RUclips channel that you can watch for more information.
