    Recipe (for a single 8" cake tin)
    2½ cups of flour
    1½ cup of sugar
    1 tsp salt
    2 large eggs (room temp)
    ½ cup of vegetable oil
    1 cup buttermilk
    1 tsp orange zest
    1 tsp vanilla flavour (any of choice)
    1 tsp red food colouring
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp white vinegar
    ½ cup of room temp water

    Here's the Recipe for a single 8" cake tin

    There is no cocoa powder in the written recipe

      00:44 I'll be dropping the traditional redvelvet recipes with Cocoa powder soon.
      It's also good to have this very recipe because it's the easiest to learn and gives that velvety feel.

      The recipe in the description box is for a single 8" cake pan. For those that would like to try it out in small quantity
      The recipe on the video is for two 8" cake pans.
      It's same ingredients, same procedure, just a difference in the quantity

      The recipe in the description is for a single 8" cake tin for those that would love to try it out.
      In the video i used 1½ of the recipe because i needed two 8" cakes.
      Same recipe, same procedure but just a difference in the quantity😊
