    Thanks can I use it as wedding cake
    I want to do sponge cake as well
    I want to know if it will hold together?

      Oh no please. I do not recommend this recipe for wedding cakes as it is very tender. Check this video on my channel for a butter based Redvelvet cake recipe that is more firm. ruclips.net/video/DIKPTNkLQzs/видео.htmlsi=3UQiKxlk1YnOICHm

    I tried but my cake didn’t rise infact mine was burning on the outside 😢😢and moist inside and wasn’t fluffy… a total fail 😢 pls make a video for those who don’t hv a mixer like me

    • @TheChefAine
      @TheChefAine  7 месяцев назад +3

      so sorry this happened to you. however, you do not need a mixer for this recipe. Something else may have gone wrong with either your ingredients or process. the brand of ingredients you use like baking soda, baking powder etc. can affect the final result. kindly see description for the brands i recommend, watch video carefully a few more times and try again.

    In the description it says 2 eggs, but in the video it shows 1 whole egg + 1 egg white? Which is correct please?

      In the video, I halved the recipe. Kindly use the ingredients stated in the description while following the process as shown in the video. Apologies for the confusion. Thank you 😊

    I tried the receipe,cake is too soft it crumbles when you cut through

    • @TheChefAine
      @TheChefAine  5 месяцев назад

      A traditional redvelvet cake should be soft. you should probably try to refrigerate before cutting or try out my butter based redvelvet cake recipe. it is a bit more sturdy.
