FYI: there’s a Spotify playlist audiobook. I read along with it and listened while crocheting/cleaning! Found out thanks to a comment on a tiktok of someone printing and hand binding a physical copy of Manacled as a gift for a friend.
I also read along and listened to audiobook while doing other tasks at home during my time off and was absolutely obsessed. Sadly it made me read even fast and now I've finished it and just feel empty 😭
Thank you for part 3 ... i was hoping for it.. For me it was pure devastation... even tho they succeeded in running away and staying together the pain and devastation wouldn't go away.. "Is that not enough? There are, undoubtedly, still unexplored depths to the potential misery between us. Should we endeavor to achieve all of it?" .... this was my fav passage ...it was so gut wrenching I knew at that momentt there is no way this could have a happy ending .... I both loved and hated this story, I hated the dark parts, i hated how it got me trying to justify the whole messed up situation ...i hated the bittersweet moments but I also loved it ... i loved how it was complicated and somehow provoking and impactful...like I know I will never forget it .... and yeah indeed this was better then many novels out there , yeah it has some fanfic elements in it but it was so well written it easily surpasses a lot of novels... I really hope this writer get recognised and has her own book deals in the future ...
Thanks for summarizing it, you broke the series down beautifully! I didn’t read it bc it was a little too dark and triggering for me so I appreciate this summary. Despite this I still think it’s a good story
I don´t get the crying and people being sad. It's a happy ending for them, they literally got everything they wanted, honestly she could've taken better decisions but in the end they got to stay together.
I've always heard of this, but never wanted to pick it up. It's infamy is well deserved and the facetime vibes of this recap is so much fun! You're probs the most popular girl in book club lol
Thanks for these videos. It's nice to go through it all again after finishing, you're so right about the book hangover. I devoured this, and didn't realise how long it was since there were no page markers. So good
I'm doing exactly what you said the purpose of the video was: listening to the story because I just finished reading it and still am so attached to the characters, simply can't get over this masterpiece! I can't believe it wil be a published book, super anxious to see how the author wil adapt the context of the war without the Harry Potter background to support the world building, but given the talent she has already showed, it wil probably be amazing.
omg I expected a horrible ending and I was surprised when they got their happy ending. I was curious about this fanfic but I didnt wanna read it so thanks a lot for the videos.
Wait a minute I'm just now on 3 i just did 1 and 2 one after the other. How come in part 1 hermione says she saw ginny dead. Did draco not save her ? Edit Oh thank god i got my answer quick
