I wonder what is the difference/advantage between connecting and transferring your domain to Wix. I read there could be a problem setting up a business mail, if it is not transferred, but only connected.

Where can I find info on how to place widgets onto other pages than the home page? Right now i have my merchandise on home page and want to also link the merchandise to other pages on site menu. The question of which site builder to use is so common,mobi..rrrise and few others offers both coding and drag and drop model that are easy to use. like very easy to use. This video makes a good comparative analysis.

I am currently creating a wix website for an online shop.So learning how to add products would be useful.I tried to add products but when i went into preview after uploading a picture and then clicking to view the product it would go into the product page and wix has zoomed in the picture.It was not like this on the home page x How can I fix this?

I am an absolute beginner and not that great with IT, your Tutorial has really helped me and I have loaded products, information etc on to my wix website. I do have a question I have a shop and would like to offer free shipping over a certain amount spent, where do I find these options? Do I have to be live before I have these options? Also I am using copy & paste for shipping and return information as it's on every page where I sell an item. Can you use an anchor for this ? . Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Daragh, I've arrived here from your 'The Complete Digital Marketing Course' on Udemy. Thanks so much for creating this tutorial, I found it really helpful when setting up my own website. I do however have a question for you and hope you can help.
I've created a site with a 'Services' section which has a picture, title and bullet points for each service on offer. When I view the site in mobile the text (title and bullet points) appear over the picture and the text is very difficult to read. Do you know how to have a different picture on the mopbile version of your site or even replace the picture with a solid colour so that the text can easily be read?
I've trawled so many tutorials and support links but can't see a solution so hope you can help?

Well can not speak for others, but I do not get the same interface as you; I so badly want to put my fist through my computer screen. You get button like options on the left side. I get some plain thing with like 4 options. Do you have an upgraded account? I am using a Mac-Mini, running an older OS. I also have a Mac-Pro 2012. It is not running the latest OS from Apple, as it will not let me upgrade any further. Would I need the latest OS to get the nice looking options on the left side of your screen?
Is there a specific image size to place into strips so the image doesn't crop?
Wix recommend uploading images with a resolution no less than 1920px by 1080px.
Are you able to change the template once you've chosen one?
it's not possible to apply a different template to a site you already created, you can create as many sites as you want in your account. This means you can start over with a new template at any point and transfer your Premium Plan to the new site.
My wix editor looks completely different to yours...I don't have any of the options on the left hand side.
I am wondering how do you add a shopping cart or set up payment methods etc.

Wix is a website building platform and they have their own hosting servers. Udemy is an online education platform not a hosting provider.

I had a similar issue, if you are watching this video AFTER already starting your site, you will need to go back and make sure you select "Create you website with the editor" @2:09
If you don't, you will not have access to the whole editing kit

Yes, presented very well. However, it is next to impossible to get Wix help! I tried text editing and it was nothing like your video. I upgraded to premium thinking that would help but it did not. Perhaps I am doing something wrong.

So in other words the mobile editor is just as sh*t house limited as it was 4 years ago ? how is the desktop editor so good and mobile utter shit ? ... You probably should have outlined the ideal BG image size ( no cropping ) seeing as getting a straight answer from wix seems ever elusive. SERIOUSLY ! most people have phones that support 1080p now yet wix is still using some iphone 2010 template for size.
