How do I change the images on the Templete that I select. I found a great template but I want to chang the pictures in the columns. I thought changing the strip background to my own image would do it but no. Thanks for the video.

Do you think its a good idea to create a website to promote local small businesses located in same parts of town, and charging them a small fee to be on the website, the fee would also include help on social media.
Hey dude, thanks for the feedback. It’s hard to stay on top of the constant changes sites like Wix make, I think I’ll need to be recording videos every single week on them! :joy: I hope that despite buttons being in different places you still found it useful as a guide.
Wix is rubbish for SEO if that's important to you. Not as customisable as wordpress and you don't own the website ie if Wix went bust or changed T&C's it could impact you negatively.
I agree with Jade, on the other hand Wordpress has a much steeper learning curve. If you are just starting out, don't know WP and need to put a website together quickly and cheaply go with Wix - you don't want to be spending days learning WP or paying someone to do it. But be prepared to move to WP at some point, whenever you have more of either time or money to pay someone to do it for you.
WordPress gives you alot of freedom. If you need to knock up a website quick then Wix will do the job. However I've seen alot of my clients outgrow their wix website within a few months and even weeks.
Honestly, I would go to WordPress every time. Plugins can transform the way WordPress works and the potential within the platform is unreal. You can build E-Commerce Stores, Training Academies and more, for one fixed cost (Which is about £2 per month for CPanel hosting!)
Wix has all the same capabilities as Shopify, it depends, I assume the reason you created a Shopify website is because you run a e-commerce store? Wix have their own e-commerce applications that can help you setup and start selling products straight from your website as well. It depends what platform you prefer using, I suggest testing both.

Hi Jordan, I am doing an online recruitment agency next month, just want a simple one to start will modify it as I get my 1st invoice in. Can you get email domain and host all with wix? Have to register business straight away or wait to earn tax threshold. Best for me to be a sole trader or private limited company pay less tax?
Hi Anthony, yes you can get a business email, domain and hosting all through Wix's platform. You can buy a mailbox with personalised email addresses and connect it to your domain all through Wix. It's up to you, I suggest you talk to an accountant, I didn't start up my company until I got paid my first invoice.
I have to say, I 100% support Wix and as a platform, it works well. However a lot of people manage to outgrow their Wix website within a couple of months and it's not the best in terms of expansion, great platform to build your first website though!

I’m a few days late usually I get to watch within the first few hours lol but I haven’t had time to sit down and WATCH I usually can listen and work, first time I had a free 20 minutes to give my full attention lol

great tut, but it could use an update! Wix has changed their editor so a lot of the things in this video have been moved around
