We wore matte make up with shiny lips 😄 unlike today where everyone wears shiny faces with matte lips ! So Wierd! I still can’t get used to it! 🤪
I'm going to a makeup convention in august... one of the parties is themed 'decades' so hubs and I are going 80s themed.... this video was a fun inspiration! I love finding people who like to have fun with costumes and makeup like I do!

I love how these younger generations think they know what 80s makeup actually looked like. We didnt contour . You used a foundation and loose tramsulecent powder lots of blush in a sharp slant to your cheekbones. Watching one 80s madonna video does not count as being an expert.
I've been watching a lot of growing pains on the Roku Channel lately and it's all about the blush in the 80's and I'm actually living for that right now. I was born in the 80's started wearing makeup in 1999. I didnt really get good at makeup until about 2014 - 2015 but I tried.
