This has got to be THE BEST power supply. Fantastic engineering achievement. Thank you for developing this product and bringing CIOKS Power Supplies to the guitar world !
I had problem with my amps/pedals for years in my studio. I went through all cables, all devices, all combinations...it took me months. At the end, it was the power supply. I bought the DC7 and the problem was finally gone. Thank you so much Cioks!!
Looks great! I am in the process of finishing my live techno setup with some hardware machines and I really dislike all the wall warts. I want to list my devices first and ideally measure their current draw before ordering a DC7 and maybe one of the extenders. Awesome product! Cheers from Germany, Hans.
Hello CIOKS team! I have the DC7 and I need a power supply for my Reverb pedal (Van amps sole mate - requirements: 12VAC, Current draw: 125ma peak). Can I use the CIOKS DC4 Expander in conjunction with the CIOKS DC7 to power this pedal? You can always make other recommendations, I appreciate it.. Best regards and thank you for your excellent products!
Hello, mr. Cioks. Multi adapters and pedal boards is new territory for me. I am interested in the DC7 for home purposes. After playing I’d like to turn off the power without taking out the plug. On fora some suggest to use a power strip with a switch. What do you suggest are the best options and what are the things to pay attention to? Hope you can help me because I am quite lost in this field 🙏
Does it matter what cable connects the cioks 8 or the cioks 4 from the DC7? I have both and only have the black/red cable...this video suggests that the black/red is only to the cioks 4? my Cioks 8 came with the black/red...is this bad to be linked using this cable?
Need to make an “AC Brick” like this that has four 12V AC 800ma isolated power sections. That way people could choose whatever cioks unit they need for their DC power needs and link the “AC Brick” to it.
Can the cioks 4 AC adapter version be powered from one of the Ciokolate's AC outputs? I love my Ciokolate and have been using it for years but am running out of outlets because my board is a bit too big :D
Confirmed Cioks 4 running off 12v AC from Ciokolate is enough to power my Kingsley Harlot which is said to require 500mA. BUT, I did not test it at a 4-hr gig, with 4 high-current pedals attached to the Cioks 4.
I have ordered Cioks 4. I intend to use it as a stand-alone supply. Can anyone tell me what AC cord to use in order to get the highest rated 660mA out of the unit?
