You are fabulous! This July I turned 81….just a year ahead. I have been watching you for several years and I am so inspired by your friendly casual informative videos. I wish you lived next door to me. Last year when I turned 80 --- I as in a state of shock for weeks…happy to be here…but shocked by the ‘’number”, as in “how can this be?” Throughout my 60’s an 70’s I didn’t think about being so old…yet I was aware the ‘third act’ was here…. Or almost. It is a wake up call..not to be denied. I treasure every day….definitely hope to stay well and be 90 one day. Thank you for being here and doing what you do!!!!!❤️ mary
Hi Patti, I am soon to be 75 and watching a lot of videos like yours trying to find products that will work for me, especially eye make up that will stay put and not come off on the under eye area. I had totally forgotten about our old trick of powdering the lashes to help mascara adhere. Thank you for reminding us about that. The other thing I have been doing for a while now is, when the mascara is set and dry, I apply clear brow gel over the mascara and that has helped it stay put. The thing I am struggling with is finding a liner that I can put just a very thin but smudgeable line right at the roots of my lower lashes to make them show up. Maybe it's because I live in Florida that I get "owl eyes" when trying to just put a tiny bit of a line there. Can't put mascara on lower lashes and never have been able to because it always winds up on the skin just below my eyes.

I am always amazed when I see you sans makeup. What you can do is a miracle, I don’t have your talent, but when I look around your eyes, art 81, I don’t have any redness, just bags under the eyes - not dark, more puffy - most days I use tinted moisturizer - when I se the redness you have, I wonder if it is all the years of eye makeup and pressure of putting on the products - I have only done eyeshadow if going out for dinner, when working, I did eyeliner and mascara - very little makeup and with natural pink cheeks, a touch of blush. Anyway, wish I had your talent for your eye makeup, and you also have the eyes that dont sink, mine are more deep set. At 81 - glad to be here so, I don’t get too hung up on these things, just keep myself looking as good as I can!! You are fun to watch.

I just don't understand why all you people try ALL those foundations!!! For God's sake just use IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better!! It covers beautifully with no need for concealers!! Set it with loose powder to set it and then use blush and DONE!!!
I haven't tried the Your Skin But Better but in the IT CC Cream, I can not find a good shade match.
Doesn't work for everyone. I tried IT and did not like it.

I lost my perfect round, well-lit/right-height makeup mirror while traveling many years ago…I’ve wasted so much money trying to replace it and alas, none could compare. I caught a glimpse of the mirror you used (in this video at least) and I believe that’s the one! So, what/where, etc…!!!!!????? I’m now 70 and have loved doing my makeup since I was about 15…and a good round mirror is a must so blind spots are eliminated like with rectangular ones (awful) cause 😂😂😂. You’re beautiful!!! Once you work your magic you sure don't look your age ! Your lucky to be so pretty.
Patti I just bought a new foundation I believe you would really you talk about getting good coverage and about lines and wrinkles well this foundation is put out by Jerome Alexander called Magic Minerals it is the best foundation I have ever used It is an airbrush makeup and I personally love it and its only $20 and comes with a makeup brush.

I'm in my 70's and I have most of the issues you have expressed. My lashes are very dark but I have the same blond tips on my lashes. Since sometimes mascara irritates my eyes, I mainly put it on the ends of my lashes rather than all the way to the roots, and surprisingly it works just fine.
