This is an example of the creative power of that God force " within", once you put your heart, mind and soul to a single pointed idea and stick to it. I'm proud of what you've done and all that you still do. You are helping to heal the hearts and minds of many who are looking for the light of change. And I thank you for your service to the community in which you have founded. Your dry humor and life stories have won over many good souls who are looking to connect with other good souls. You will always continue to create your own blessings, by blessings by others. So, love and peace professor Calvin take care.

Now, when I was in Davao two years ago checking out the place, which included Samal Island…you were skeptical about my accounts regarding this place….however, I'm happy to hear 👂 that you like/love the place since having the opportunity to visit it.
Lastly, if I would ever move to the Philippines, most likely it would be Davao… it's ideal if you want a slow life, a clean city/no to minimal pollution, and some contemporary conveniences. Just note the condos/housing are extremely overpriced based on the quality of what you would get in Thailand.
But Thailand is a better fit/lifestyle for me; pimping! Lol 😆

I lived there for one year (left in March, 2024). I loved it, but also had a few issues that bothered me and decided to leave. Lack of road safety, unbelievable pollution December to April, lack of connection with the people for whatever reason, and the rest were insignificant and actually amusing. I am spending time in the Philippines these days!

If you go to North many hours from Davao, close friends brother, a filipino kidnapped just 18 months ago in the mountains and forced to train and fight for rebels who are still resisting government of Philippines. Three family men taken from their village. Each family gets rice and food supplied, and some money monthly from rebels. So Philippines not cleaned up everything yet. Where you were , is different world to the North. My current girl raised there in the north in area 92% Muslim districts. Violence, and shootings , even killings along political lines very regular occurence. Extreme Muslims shoot at regular Muslims often. Especially during election periods. Hear it on our calls very regular.

I was in samal before lock down, was gonna build a lil place on the far side in Tagbaobo. Plans changed but i do love Davao and samal island. If you’re still around and you like trying fruits look for “Marang” it’s amazing.

Been to Davao many times. Samal island is not part of Davao City but across it. There is going to be a bridge soon from Davao City. I stayed at Pearl Farm in Samal Island for 3 days which was a little bit pricey but elegant. We were picked up by a speed boat from Davao City to Pearl Farm. Davao city is too spread out that if u have a business from one part of the city to the other could take some time.

Which became my loving home city back in 2017. I am happy that you and your wife enjoyed your stay in Davao. But I'm still looking forward to meet with you. Just keep producing great context which I appreciate and Thank you much.
