    The stove had some firebrick in the back and on the sides at one time. Wouldn't hurt to put some in there after you repair the back wall.

    Very nice setup. Don't be afraid to reduce the oil flow and experiment, it looks a bit rich to me and may give you a better burn and save some fuel too. Love the blower, nice big and most of all quiet . looking forward to your next video.

      Thank you for the comment. I am going to play around with air and fuel to try and get a good burn but as of now I get no smoke out the chimney which is good but I agree reduce oil a tiny bit will be my next move.

    I have the same type building, I put spray foam insulation in all those cracks in the roof eves and corners. I'm gonna put some pool noodle pieces that I can put over the crack over my roll up doors.I also have ceiling fans to push the hot air down, that helps a BUNCH,

      I have installed 3 industrial ceiling fans and it helped a lot , I will do the same with spray foam and probably plastic the whole ceiling. Thanks for the info!

    Does the exhaust needs to go up since it's forced air and not draft?
    Is there any "do or don't" with;
    The burn chamber?
    The nozzle orientation of the air pipe and oil pipe?
    The height and angle if either one?
    I converted an old corn burner and it works but need to constantly mess with it. I think my fire box is too small

      when you start the stove cold you need to pre heat with a torch and create a draft so smoke doesn’t come in the shop. The burner pot burns for a few minutes before you actually turn the blower on so I would suggest a chimney pipe to go up. Mine goes up does a 90 out of building than another 90 and goes straight up so I can get an easy draft . Don’t use a burn pot too small Id suggest 6-8” wide . Mine the pipe with the air and oil comes down at a 45 degree right into the burn pot . I place the pot in the center of that pipe and works great for me. Watch my other videos I show exactly how to start it cold. Hope that helps 👍

      Starting it isn't an issue, it's keeping it going. How close to the bottom of the bowl is the pipe?

      @@commonsenseisdeadin2024 its about 1” from the pan. Is yours a forced air setup too?

    Do you know what cfm your induction blower is?

      I do not since its a very old stove blower with no tags. I pushes descent air but after choking it down to blow through a 1” tube it feels similar to the blower in the back of the stove which is 50cfm.

    What type of exhaust pipe are you running?

    • @fab_It_garage
      @fab_It_garage  Год назад

      Regular 6” stove pipe but the pipe that goes through the building sheetmetal is double wall chimney pipe.

      @fab_It_garage thanks for the reply. The pipe doesn't overheat or anything?
