@@danielwoods621 yes this design is a forced air and you need a small blower to run this . Air from the blower makes the mixture leaner which burns hotter and you get little to no smoke. Oil will burn without extra air but it will smoke very bad. Hope this helps.

@@Kinards_Kustoms Yes I use a regular welding helmet most of the time when trying to cut accurate. I should also wear gloves but I don’t most of the time which is not smart on my part.

@ I didn’t lol, I use the torch head to block the light when I do small cuts which again not smart at all so don’t do that lol

Sounds like you need more air. My main blower is a 50 cfm blower from an old stove. I have added a link in the video description to one similar on Amazon. Hope that helps. Try that and if it smokes still try backing off on the oil drip amount. it will smoke some at startup but once hot ( 5 -10 mins) it should clear.

@@MrDozer120 The roof was not insulated because It was optional and they wanted an insane amount of money to do so and I decided to do it myself eventually. The oil reservoir is now moved closer and the tank and feed line gets nice and warm now. I will post an updated video asap.

@@fab_It_garage I wasn't talking about insulating your roof. I am talking about soft foam strips that are contoured to fit your sheet metal. They are placed near the end of the metal sections. They only seal between the metal and whatever is under it, like the top of the walls or under the top cap, so they block all the wind you were talking about. They only fit in the gaps where you were showing us the light you could see from outside. I hope I am being clear. They are designed to seal the gaps only. Who ever built your building should have put them in. Without them, you get wind/rain/snow able to enter your shop. They are always used. Or should be. Great videos by the way.

Its the iPhone microphone that amplifies the audio its not loud at all. Not any louder than a MIG at least.

No the oil only burns because it’s dripping on a glowing hot pan and plus its such a small line theres very little oxygen inside that line (being full of oil) for such thing.

Its been a little while since the project has been completed but all wiring I did its on all my videos . The ignition start wires were re used factory, all other accessories have a wire com ignition under the dash going to a aftermarket fuse box under the hood . Any specific wiring you need help with?

​@fab_It_garage just trying to figure out what to do with the entire miata engine harness coming out of the firewall. Which plugs to keep, which to cut etc

@sca9269 I only kept the little harness for the coolant temp sensor and the small harness for the starter and alternator. Everything else was cut and taped and shoved back inside the car with a rubber plug at firewall. Factory ecu was also removed. The coolant temp sensor will still work on the swap and give you a functioning temp gauge. Watch all my videos on this Its all covered for most part.

I get that but you don’t really need to touch the LED chip at all since it has a base to grab unlike a regular bulb or HID bulb that has very little to grab on to so I figured its for those who don’t want to get dirty lol. 🤷‍♂️

So if you look closely when I install the pipe to the trottle body , I used the extension hose provided in the kit and the straight barb fitting also from the kit to connect it to the car small hose. Pause video at 23:41 hope that helps.

@@joel-tt8lr Yes clamps felt kinda trash but seemed ok during install, I opened up my hood last week and my filter was just laying there not even connected I was like wtf, but I blamed me for maybe leaving it loose.. now that you say that I wonder lol

Did you replace the clamp on the velocity stack or the 2 clamps on the silicone??

if so what size clamps did you get ?

@@fazeblo6077 I used the clamps provided with the kit , after cranking them pretty tight I haven’t had any issues. If you prefer to replace them just measure the diameter of the pipe or coupler and buy new clamps .
