That changed peoples genetic makeup forever to which we don't know what will happened to them except for the ones injured and dead -- so far.

Fantastic presentation. It saddens me that the comment section is dominated with threats and a lack of understanding of the work. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for the very exciting and motivating talk. I was really amazed by what this institute has done. I don't understand why people got so aggressive to this. You don't have to understand or accept it, but at least don't leave such mean comments to these hardworking scientists. Keep up the great work, John!! I can't wait to see what's the next to come!!

I didn't watch all this, however i do know he used existing life to make this cell. Maybe a good accomplishment, i am not sure. All i know is--using existing Life and then bragging you done something seems odd to me.
i am open to discussion on this--So, please feel free to let me know

Make the whole cell from it’s chemical elements like the perfectly dead, mindless virginal primordial soup or whatever did. Instead of using existing cells and transplanting dna assembled by yeast cells. How do you equate this with abiogenesis?

Maybe it's too late...have you already ruined our planet singlehandedly, along with your minions following your bidding?
