An awesome idea for a faction would be an ocean type civilization, either in the overworld or in an entire new dimension, which might explain the story behind the ocean monuments and the conduits
This is actually an idea that’s been swimming around in my mind for a while The idea of a long-lost, possibly technologically advanced civilization that was sea-faring is amazing! And the design possibilities are pretty limitless! Maybe steampunk? Maybe more magical, with golems and such? I think it’d be a great addition to Wanderers or any Minecraft mod, for that matter!
Another amazing devlog. I'm starting to see glimpses of where this project is going. At first I thought it will be another vanilla+ mod, but now it seems to me that you are trying to completely revamp the game. Keep the amazing work.
Really like the direction this mod is going into! My only complaint is that the sculk mobs look too much alike, I think experimenting with different themes of sculk could be a great idea but so far keep up the great work!
So I was watching this video at 1.5x speed, and when the music for the War Pigs started it was amazing! I went back to 1x speed to hear it and while it was still really good, I hope we get a faster version of the song for a fight or something. It sounded awesome!
I think the new sculk mobs do not look very distinct from each other (apart from the beetle and the muddler). I loved the lore that was added to existing minecraft content with the factions. The giraffe's texture looks messy and unpleasant. P.S.: the pigstep cover/remix in the intro was awesome. The new dojo music is fantastic, too!
Yeah I agree, and the ostrich looks almost nothing like an ostrich at all, why does it have arms extending out in front of itself and black protrusions on the sides of its face? Also it doesn’t make sense that the stalkers look like they are made of or evolved in sculk while apparently they are fighting against it and it’s spread?
There needs to be some sort of counterpart faction for the overworld and nether. The Pillagers hate the villagers, but Is there a main faction for them to turn their anger on? And the nether faction seems a bit unclear. Is it the rebels or the empire? Either way the whichever one it isn’t should have it’s own faction as it makes sense.

New mobs: The adventurous/forgotten, a new mob spawning attached to blocks in the sculk dimension, upon getting to close the mob will grab the player using it's arms and drag it into the wall. Turning the player into one of them... the story is that these creatures are past players who chose to hide in the sculk itself to flee from danger, as expected this went horrible wrong and instead they were trapped and corrupted by it. The sculk hounds are a canine mob bred to be killers that spawns in the sculk dimension, these can either be found near stalker settlements as domesticated fellows or in the wild as beasts. These hounds have exceptional (night) vision and a silent paw, these make them able to creep up on you similar to creepers, they can do this either alone or in packs the latter is the preferred option. These killer like features mean that you might not know what's there but it sure as hell can see you. New real life mobs like eagles, lions, hippos, whales, and zebras. As for their hunting behaviour animals that are semi-piscivores like eagles, or bears will hunt near streams (new addition where the water flows) , and rivers snatching up any salmon. Factions: Make it so we can choose to join factions, once we gain a good relationship between the respective races or make our own. Knights Of The Overworld (KOTO) could be a new villager faction, how the hell did they get proper arms? Well vindicators and evokers have connected arms that can separate so villagers can probably do the same. Unlike the Exiled who use more biological weapons like the ravager the KOTO opt for a technological approach, seen with the iron golem. Structures: Add a main HQ for each faction, these places are amongst some of the rarest things you'll ever find, for the Exiled there can be the Illager realm (as in a big ass kingdom), where the enchanter devises his plans for domination, it's a heavily guarded place putting the players skills to use. The silenced will not have one of these as they're vulnerability has prevented any settlements from lasting, that is if they can even build while blind. The war pigs will have a semi rundown manor, with underground tunnels. The dragon syndicate will have a more airborne style base floating in the void due to them harnessing the shulkers abilities. Ruins from the past, exclusive to forest and jungle biomes hidden with Indiana jones style traps this could connect to the archaeology system. Additions for mobs/drops: The enchanter will have 3 phases: Normal, 50% and Full power where he harnesses all the knowledge in the overworld entering a demi-god state upon death you will gain his book of knowledge allowing you to conjure ancient spells and the exiled will fear you, or rebel against you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The hunter will drop his mask, this mask will make you immune to all negative potion effects. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'm not trying to pressure the team and I can understand if this is too much to ask especially with what's being given to us, you guys are amazing and I'm really hyped for this mod to release, these are just additional features to add to it if you guys want to.⠀⠀
i like this twist, but the design of the ancients its too related to the warden... at least my headcanon is that the warden is made of sculk... so i dont know how sculk can be explained in the mod, like, whats the connection, biomass? "grass" , actually something or just a nice palette because it doesnt seem to care about their own correlation to suddenly have a "sentient" and pacific version

here's a faction idea: "The Order Knights" (Humans) Lore Summary: once discriminated by the other faction as a pathetic and inferior race, the Humans where chosen by the gods to be the guardians of the Overworld, so threats like The Exiled to The Sculk Infection to even The Ender Dragon, The Order Knights had devoted themselves to help those in need of help and justice.
The sculk dimension makes me feel strange, i feel like yall misinterpreted what sculk really is Sculk is like an organ system, so it just seems strange to have entities that are apart of an organized ecosystem prey against eachother
I feel like that's one of the issues that comes with limiting the concept of a dimension to simply "sculk dimension." Sculk as a whole is already a pretty self-contained and "complete" concept so basing an entire dimension around it feels somewhat questionable in my opinion but only time will tell whether or not they can work around that

would the villagers not be their own faction? and skeletons+wither skeletons seem to work together in a faction esque way, and attack piglins. Also strange observation, but your music sounds really good at 1.25x speed
The villagers may just be scattered communities instead of a unified thing. But yeah it may make sense to have a villager faction, though it isn’t necessary.
Are you guys thinking of adding some sort of guide book, not to make the game easier, but to let us players know wich new things there are and what to expect in the future of our world. Just achievements could also serve as a guide.
Ive watched all your devlogs and im afraid that most of the content may be overlooked or not understood, due to Minecraft already having so much content(most useless)
Netherite is only found in debris beacuse of its lore (the piglins mined everything),the other dimension ores should have a different way to obtain,maybe the sckulkite could a Crystal,and the lurker a gemstone.
the Worden isen't a Boss he is a living part of the skullck biome he is like terraria dungeon guardians the itencion isn't to kill but it would be cool to have a drop (like a trophy or armour tryiming) to the Wardem I like the idea of a skullck boss fight but not to modify the warden and instead make a new mob
I think the Sculk Dimension would be better if it was completely underwater, similar to the game Subnautica. It would be fantastic to have a unique underwater dimension with exciting ideas for combat and gameplay. The only downside I see is the Sculk area in the overworld not having any water. Nonetheless, I believe it would still be a lot of fun.
What in the world is that ostrich??? That is not what they look like at all and it’s pretty ugly. Also the Giraffe is pretty ugly and just looks like a taller lama. Those are the only negative things I have to say about anything in this mod though.

the music in my opinion feels way to retro, minecraft isn't that retro so it feels a bit out of place if it were to be combined into the game
