I like how the sculk horde legitimately feels like the thing on the other side of the portal, and the warden would not not guarding it from the world; rather, the warden would be guarding the world from it; perhaps the portal once led to a fourth dimension that was later corrupted and completely overtaken by the sculk horde, and the warden was once the player who accidentally released it into this world, the ancient city being the base he created, and after the outbreak which led to his base falling to the sculk, he spend the rest of his eternity guarding the portal, which led to him eventually becoming one with the sculk himself- the warden

Forcing him to retreat further away as the Sculk slowly spread across the land after him. After so much time, so much prep, it finally reached his final fortress, and he just barely was able to save himself and a the pieces of what he had built. It was like the low point in some epic before the power was finally attained to put a stop to this menace for good
Just so you know if you just hang out in the amethyst cave the amethyst buds will grow into the large amethyst and then you'll get the shards. Also they only grow on the blocks that have that shattered look to them and it's best to mine the regular amethyst blocks away because you can get more when it's unobstructed. The buds won't grow if it's blocked.
Love watching Robert plays, feels like amongst the group robert plays the smartest, most prepared. Instead of constantly fighting losing battles, he strategize.
You gotta love Robert man, this dude went past 100 days just so he could end the video in a climax, became an engineer just to protect the village, traveled miles to get bottle snatch back, this guy's insane
I love how one of the biggest limiting factors in the later days was just the sculk not spawning brains. Like it learned that, "yo this guy kills mah brains pretty damn fast maybe I shouldnt make brains no moar"

Really cool seeing a whole playthrough of this mod after it got some updates. Sculk phantoms add so much to the sculk's spread and difficulty containing it, and the new method of killing the ancient node is more balanced with taking more time

13:40 it was gravel that didnt have anything under it, so when you placed the lava it updated making it fall, like how sand can generate over ravines and placing a block on them makes all the sand fall.
seeing him accidentally starve the skulk of mass day 60ish+ by killing all the nodes was funny, never saw that be an issue with this mod lmao no new nodes were spawning due to lack off mas and enderman were also gone
Day 11: Build in the sky. Building a base in the sky with a kelp elevator is ALWAYS the answer. Day 12: You literally walked right over top of an amethyst geode.
I dont know how much he needed but he also already had some amethyst shards with him (8 of them) if he wanted to secure the village before starting to look for more- its already better then just praying that it doesnt get eaten by skulk when looking for amethyst
[spoiler alert] This was the first video on your channel I watched and it was so enthralling! What a hero's arc - from freaking out over the skulk to running over it unperturbed, to final victory! On the way, you picked up skills, challenged yourself, made mistakes, but persevered in the end.. man this was more exciting than any movie released in the past 10 years! Hope you do more of these, you deserve to blpw up!
if you put a sculk purifier, it clears sculk, but the sculk enemies go after it, so what if you surround a purifier with blocks so it can stop the sculk, as well as being safe
This was so much fun! I really wish that the conclusion killed all the skulk, though. I hope that they change the mod to make all the remaining skulk be purified, that would be amazing
1:39:52 the reason you didn’t die here is because you dismounted the wolf mid-fall. Minecraft tracked your fall damage from the height you were put at when you dismounted, down to the ground, instead of the full fall (though you would’ve taken no damage if you just stayed on the wolf)

Loved that it wasn't super heavily edited too so we actually got to see some gameplay. I hope you keep this style as your channel grows. This was good.

I downloaded the mod and started it to test, and shriekers can spawn on the surface in the mod. They seem to be pretty rare (there was a lot more Sculk Summoners which are from the mod and look similar) but every once in awhile a Shrieker would spawn on the surface
