Thanks, love your presentation here, very relaxed and flowing, just right Fuego! Some seem to think endless bad humor is a good idea, I am not one of those people however! Thanks again, I enjoyed this front to back......By the way, I also started with the UAD card way back when!
I own it, it is a FANTASTIC emulation of the Sound City Studios. That Console is a Rupert Neve design that was there at the studio originally. Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) bought it for his Home Recording Studio.
@@MixUpAcademy I have mostly been using it to change the room and the room mics. Haven’t even gone too deep on the included Eq or compressor. The chamber is epic though.
@@MixUpAcademy Not yet, i have had a bit of time to dabble with it and just from that alone i was massively impressed and i knew this would be a go to tool going forward
🙌🏾I’m happy about the forward progress but I don’t know what that means for my $4000+ UAD dsp powered rig, it’s seem like they’re moving away from the powered plugins
i wouldn't worry about that. Even if it got to be a problem, maybe they'd eventually offer a cross-over, idk. I've tested / bought almost every plugin out there, UA have blown my mind in how responsive their stuff is. The silver comp?! The distressor?! Amazing stuff@@MixUpAcademy

Awesome
I appreciate that!

😍My go-to for strings
Re-mic mode is incredible. But it will kill many mixes. I find it's very easy to over do it with this reverb since the room sounds so good.
If re-mic mode is too much then I’ll set it up on an aux(bus)
This plugin is awesome for making drums I record in a small room sound like they were tracked in a world class studio.
The EQ, Dynamic and Chamber section are tough

wauw, that track really demonstrated how good the plugin sounds and works !
Total transformation into a gorgeous production.
Another really good release by universal audio
@@MixUpAcademy Yea i hope they keep going with this and do more studios.
Have you tried it on your mixes?

It sounds amazing. After they went native, i've been over the moon.

I do like the UA stuff specially the plugins
Best example so far. Impressive...
Thank you
Glad you liked it
Perfect explanation, thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Great job on the demonstration, and beautiful track! I'd love to hear the whole thing if it's done
This song is called Old Fashion Way, you can download the multitracks at producelikeapro.com
Great info!! I have UAD Spark and it includes this plug-in. I was wondering what it could provide. Thanks!!
Glad it was helpful!
Spark is a good deal, How do you like the sound city studio plugin so far?
@@MixUpAcademy I've only tried the Re-Mic and it makes the track sound as if you are right in the room with band! It's awesome.
Sound City Studios vs. Ocean Way Studios plugins. Which one is better?
They each do different things for, I’m not sure which one would be better, I just feel like I have two great room options
Got it thanks
Sound City has way more features though, I can do so much with just the Sound City studios plugin
I really appreciate your feedback! Happy New Year!
You’re welcome
Happy New Year!
So... what exactly they don't tell me?
This plugin may not work for fine-tune work, such as “fix and mix” jobs, but I think I can mix a record with just this plugin
