Baking powder makes your Chinchin raise in size, so is mostly used by commercial bakers. Chinchin without eggs tend to last longer, than Chinchin that contains eggs. That is why most commercial bakers don't add eggs to their Chinchin.

Not soft not hard. But I promise, you will love it. Remember the milk contains a lot of sugar, so u can consider reducing the sugar content.

Baking powder helps your chin chin raise, therefore making it bigger in size. So baking powder is not compulsory
