Meh, it would be more enjoyable to just drop them. Would make controlling the parachute easier, not have them annoyingly dangling, and not be concerned about dropping them. Plus I'm sure go pro covered the cost of them. So I say well worth it. I sure as hell wouldn't want to deal with the poles while doing something this intense.

*sigh* You know, I used to like to follow other ski trails. I sometimes get lost so I just use other ski tracks in the snow to show me where to go. Imagine following this trail and going off a cliff without a parachute.
Gotta know where your going. Back country there are a lot of cliffs people drop with and without a chute.
I went down hill skiing once and this brought back some good memories. I never did do the "ski off a cliff with a parachute" move though lol. Love skiing so much
