When I visited AZ they were absolutely right. Dry heat doesn't feel as hot. It was 114 degrees but didn't feel a hair over 105. It was amazing, I could feel like I was getting a 105 degree burn, but several hours later I knew it was actually 114 degree burn.

Try coming to Southwest Florida and working eight hours a day doing manual labor in July then you’ll know what hot it is. I’ve been out in the desert where it’s been 110 115° and it didn’t feel nearly as hot as it does in Florida.

exactly, I live in Vegas and, yes, it's Hot. If you're working in the heat it's tough to deal with it, playing golf , I don't feel it much. I'm from the east and humidity is NUTS, unless you're in the Caribbean

I believe it was called humidstickedy the 2 years I lived in the panhandle. 90+ degrees and 90+ humidity 6 months out of the year.

I used to live in the high desert in CA. I don't care if it's a "dry heat". 110 is too freaking hot

I probably don't walk 78 steps at work, I'm a security officer and do vehicle patrol
