Changing the wash units’ button panel

Tools:
Scissors,
protective sheath,
new button panel,
cutter,
electrical tape,
2.5 mm Allen key
BEFORE CHANGING THE BUTTON PANEL, MAKE SURE TO DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET FROM THE WASH UNIT.
1. Lift and detach the push button from the aluminium cover.
2. Unscrew the aluminium cover from the armrest
3. Pull the button panel cables out
4. Remove electrical tape from connections
5. Disconnect the connectors from each other
6. Pull out the button panel from the aluminium cover
7. Insert the new button panel to be used in the cover. If necessary, use a new cover
8. Insert protective sheath around the disconnected connectors
9. Connect the new button panel to the connectors
WARNING! THE CONNECTORS HAVE A CONNECTION DIRECTION. ONCE CONNECTED, MAKE SURE THAT THE BUTTON PANEL IS WORKING PROPERLY BEFORE CLOSING THE ALUMINIUM COVER.
10. Cover up the connectors with electrical tape
11. Cover up the connectors with protective sheathing
12. Insert the connectors inside the armrest
13. Screw the aluminium cover back onto the armrest
14. Clean metal covers from glue residues.
15. Remove the protective film from the double-sided adhesive tape.
16. Attach the button panel to the cover and make sure that it is well bonded by pressing on the sides.
