I like the content, I like your presentation, you have a genuine way about you. I for one am sick of the channels that churn out clickbait content. You being you and doing what you do is what keeps me watching. Best of luck and looking forward to more.
Another great video Russ. I'm glad your SVO is running good and not smoking anymore. Hope your crank is good with the Torino engine. A 460 may be a good replacement. Keep up the great videos on explaining in detail how and why on what your doing. Thank you for your videos. Rich
Thanks Rich, I hate that I've got to pull it back out but that's how it goes sometimes I've got another 429 that came out of the car but I don't have enough to make a decent engine out of it
I love the way you use your talents to fix things. I love all your shows. I just wish I could have your work ethnics and talents. Thanks for all your shows. Keep them coming.
Ohhhhh I’m allergic to electricity ⚡️ , don’t weld in the wet unless you are in mood to light up your life!!! Also we have our 65 jack job no more to finish..
Excellent work, Russ! Love the content regardless of the order. Let me ask, is the 6-cyl out of the question for the 70? Perhaps if May be a cheaper fix than the Cleveland?
Good job. I like your ingenuity to get it done and working. Another interesting video from you. 😎 You must have given Daisy a couple of days off? 🙂 Keep on trucking, man!
Hey I like your rides, use to be a ford guy, then I got my license, lol. I subscribed to your channel because I like what you’re doing! Keep it up,let’s go!!!!!
3:13 Everyone who has delt with Lima 385, knows that Ford didn't Cheap Out by making them ultra thinwall like the Cleveland 335's. So the Big Block will always have residual value far beyond the costs of worrying bearing or needle roller disintegration. I'm a New Zealander; when my mate Blair built his engine in 1988, he destroyed a NASCAR blocks cylinder wall by using cast clearances in an engine that used Boss 351 TRWs. Back then, his XE NASCAR block had so much residual value, that he sold it for 5500 dollars and that paid for a stock 1977 XC Falcon 351C block, and he came good desipte the old block needing a sleeve. These days, a Big Block has everything going for it over a Cleveland. You're on the right track, you'll come good! What happened to you is why Ford Australia used a nylon timing gear and bolt on adjustable non roller rockers in its 340, 350 and 380 hp Cleveland 351 Phase II, III and IV engines. It took Yella Terra about five years to ensure rocker disintegration didn't kill engines in its factory 5 liter Australian Falcon Synergy engines, GM Holden had similar matters to contend with. Not all roller rockers can handle the racket. Your work is a credit to you, and your phlegmatic and steady work is an inspiration to us all. Hang in beating the budget, and Don't ever go Cleveland. Signed... Cleveland Guy.
@@HotRodGuyGarage oooohhh yeah the most underrated big block around. Ford didn’t do it any favours when they first released that bad boy with all the emissions crap smothering it huge potential. Hey I hope all your dreams become reality as a guy that works as hard as you and genuinely cares about his customers deserves it!!
Hi Russ, what's your opinion on the Falcon's? I had a 63 1/2 and I sold it about 15 years ago and I've been thinking about getting anothet one. The car was Colton Ca and was so clean. I really miss that Falcon.
I guess compound turbo is out of the question, but a 50 hp shot of NOS and she will spool right up!! All the no prep guys do this because they don’t have time to spool. Um, 2-step?
Definitely a lot of options to help this car is more of a driver then a race car I'm working on getting the launch control and flat shift up and working

I appreciate that!
Your videos show reality. All of us can relate to waiting on parts, money , or time
It's about as real as it gets here. Project car life is a tire fire that usually just gets to a small smolder
I don't have the place or tools to do that kind of stuff but I like watching you do it. Thanks.
Thanks for the visit
I like watching your videos fella.. Talk all you need to.. It's called a day in the shop.
Just real life here
No smoke is good smoke.
Absolutely in this case
I'm a fox chassis fan too going back to 1985. More power from you to you. Long live the Pontiac Turbo Firefly!
Thanks Paul
I liked the video. It shows everyday struggle without the video " magic wand" results! Don't give up !!!!
Definitely not giving up but something needs to go right soon 😆
It's like putting 1 fire out at a time, good to see the tide is changing at least with that car.
At least getting them down to a smolder
Like it excellent Russ cheers 🥂 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
@@HotRodGuyGarage 😎
Good you survived, gee I hope that Clevo is ok, it did sound so sweet for a little while.
I'm gonna try to get it out soon and then down
Love the SVO content!
Awesome 😎
it's progress.
Absolutely
Bummer finding the shavings in the pan. At least you got the turbo sorted out. Good luck with the engine dilemma. Thx!!
Absolutely, one fire at a time for now

Nice win on the bolt! Been there done that. A 460 would be cool. She sounded good and glad you have wheels again.
I'm just glad it didn't fight more then it did
You make good videos I m surprised you should have more viewer with all your content. Looking for more videos
I appreciate that!
Great video Russell. True to life. We do the same thing. Waiting on parts for this and that, let's work on this one.😊👍🏼👍🏼
Absolutely, it usually a tire fire when you drive and work on old stuff
Nothing pretty about that Mustang engine compartment, but happy you made yourself a car to drive. I admire you!
Absolutely it's definitely not pretty just a old car that deserved more then getting scrapped
At least you made some progress
At least it's back to not making clouds
@@HotRodGuyGarage As long as you have something to drive
@@NathansMoparGarage absolutely it's always something but so far so good
I love the SVO content!
Thanks

I watched the whole video and enjoyed it. You commentary during the video makes it worth it.
Thanks
Hey Russ, I’m always eager to watch and learn and interested in what you’ve got going on. Things will get better 👍
I hope so too it's not often everything I've got is basically down at once

I've definitely got a lot of thinking to do
Glade you got 1 car fixed
Me too! Seems like a never ending struggle sometimes

Better off going back to the. 300 if the 351 is realy hurt.
Is that turbo the same as a gt2860?
It's basically a custom built turbo it's a 64.5mm inducer and a .81 T3 hot side with a 65mm turbine
Did the flood get you?
Fortunately no

Thanks Dean
