Sproul taught a false gospel
The true gospel is the good news of the Person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ. In other words, it is concerning who Christ is and what He did to save His elect only. The gospel includes the how and why, which can only be seen by faith.
It is a message that declares how the eternal Son of God came down, took on a body of sinless flesh (John 1:14) as He was born of a virgin (Mat 1:23). He was both God and man in one Person.
He was born under the Law to keep and fulfill it (Mat 5:18, Gal 4:4). He did that, not for Himself, but for all those He represented because they could not keep it themselves. The word of God calls these people the elect or His sheep, among several other names.
His obedient life also included the part of dying. He took on the sin of His people as both a Substitute and Representative of those people. The Bible said He was "made to be sin" (II Cor 5:21) and the way that was done is by God imputing (legally reckoned or charged to the account of) sin to Christ. That means all the sin of all those people God chose was "laid on Him" (Isaiah 53:6). This sin was legally transferred to His account and He then owned it in such a way to be guilty of it all.
God the Father poured out His wrath and hatred toward sin on His Son and had pleasure (Isaiah 53:10) in doing so, in that, He was completely satisfied in Christ as a Sacrifice that met all the demands of His strict Law and inflexible justice. Christ finished the work of paying the penalty of the Law and then said " It is finished" (John 19:30). He secured salvation for all God’s chosen people that would even be born. His resurrection is evidence of the acceptance of His sacrifice to the Father.
The combined work of His obedience to the Law and His obedience unto death on the cross was considered establishing righteousness. This is what one of the Old Testament prophets prophesied as "bringing in an everlasting righteousness" (Daniel 9:24) as Christ died effectually and exclusively for those chosen of God before the world began (Eph 1:4).
This righteousness is what God imputes to His people in the context of giving the life to believe in Christ. This puts them in a state called "Justification" and as a result they are eternally secure, in Christ. This is the gospel (Rom 1:16-17).
All this takes place in such a way to show God as both a God of justice and a Savior. This is how grace reigns through righteousness (Rom 5:21)

That's not true at all. Suffering brings a rift and a distance between a man and God.
@@jamespython5147 not if you're a child of God that chooses to move closer to God instead. To the unsaved sinner, he only continues to shake his fist at God. It doesn't have to be that way - put your trust in The Lord Jesus Christ and life (including suffering) will have meaning.

Though I was raised in a Godly family I strayed away in my youth but I’ve always heard God calling to me to come back to His fold. I recently dedicated myself and my life to God and every day I’m led to something new through Him. One of the things that has been so beautiful to my spirit in this particular video is when RC spoke of the man blind since birth and that Jesus was asked if it was from the man’s sins or his parent’s sins and Jesus spoke that it was in order to manifest the Holy Kingdom of God!!!! My soul jumped with joy when hearing this again! 🫶🏼🙏🏻

If God is infinite, how can his grace be finite? God's grace is infinite, but God gives sufficient grace to each as HE chooses.

All disease, suffering, tragedies and death stem from the fall of man from the Garden of Eden. We all deserve far worse than what we get in this world. We should be happy that God shines the sun upon anyone not to mention the just and the unjust. All demonstrate God's Glory.

Wars begin at the marketplace of ideas and the clashes therein. This reality reminds me of the fallacy of the old adage: "Sticks and stones make break my bones but words can never hurt me." In the Old Testament times words were legally binding.

The sun represents the nation of power for the day, the woman representing the adopted (lukewarm), and the child representing a major prophet (elect, hot, the daily sacrifice). Jer 23:3-4 (KJV).

Exactly the same way he drew his adoption to this nation (U.S.A.) “One nation under God”.
“Give me your tired, your poor,

But alas the nation always goes the way of the world and becomes a beast,

But know this, if the truth were being told then the prophecy, Matt 24:14 (KJV) would have happened years ago. But when the true gospel is preached in all nations then all will know the TRUE reason for the “Great Tribulation” which is for all on this earth except the elect (the “hot”) which are “caught up” to the third heaven (where God dwells) in a twinkling at the last trump, the beginning of the Great Tribulation:
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the GATES into the city. Rev 22:14 (KJV).
The hypocritical and unbelieving (the “cold”) for vengeance and wrath unto the second death (the lake of fire, our nearest star). The sincere and believing (the adoption “the lukewarm”) for chastisement unto ever lasting life, that will be SPEWED out to a new earth (the waters above Gen. 1:6-8) after 3 ½ years of chastisement, Jer 25:29 (KJV)
And
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. …
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and CHASTEN: be zealous therefore, and repent.

God adopts those who choose him; hence they are called the adoption (the lukewarm).

These that are born with the Holy Ghost: Judges 13:5 (KJV), Psalms 22:10 (KJV),
Luke 1:15 (KJV), and Gal 1:15 (KJV)
These are the elect, the prophets, (the hot);
1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the STRANGERS scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2 ELECT according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: ... 1 Peter 1:1-2 (KJV)
They are the 144k, the messengers to the adoption; Eph 1:4-5 (KJV)
The reason for this verse;

liar, thief, murderer, and hypocrite.

Before the final trumpet the Ark of the Covenant will be found under the seat of the false prophet, but not in time for this world to turn back from its path of destruction.
So at the final trumpet there is an unprecedented great earthquake and nuclear war.
17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; ….
18…; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth…
21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great. Rev 16:17-21 (KJV)
These simultaneous events will knock the earth out of orbit hurling her towards the sun (“lake of fire”) and bringing hell on earth; 19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

Then the U.S.A. (Satan, a power and principality) being the only one with relatively any power left will know that they have “but a short time” and for 3 ½ years will come after the woman, (the adoption) the true children (church) of God, to hold as hostage.
Don’t take my word for it, or anybodies for that matter. Come to the bible (KJV) with sincere want for truth, and not to consume it upon your lusts, but that you may do true worship and obedience to God, with a repentant heart, and with reason and logic the Spirit of God will teach.11 … in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Acts 17:11 (KJV)

@@HearGodsWord I'm not convinced a God exists but there's alot of talk especially lately about the Christian God, in particular His preference for the United States. Without proof one way or the other the same inquisitive nature that made me leave the Christian faith has me at study in attempts to better understand my fellow man. Like any series of experiments there's good,bad and hostile results but so far all I've been able to do is reinforce the long standing truth that irony is not without a sense of humor.
Semantics. Philosophical meandering. Wishful thinking. Unicorns.
