Thank you! We will be in Cinque Terre in 3 weeks! We’re staying in Monterosso for 1 week. We are looking forward to exploring all the villages including Portovenere! It was good to see how you dressed for this time of year also. ✈️🌏✈️🌏
Compliments! You will love it! I suggest you get a weekly train pass, it's very convenient. You will be able to take all the trains that connect the countries without limits. If you like walking, you can go from village to village on foot and back by train. There are also paths at higher altitudes, they are less frequented and still beautiful. Corniglia (it is in the center of the Cinque Terre and is the only village not in contact with the sea that stands on a rocky promontory about 100 meters high in a basin among the vineyards) can be reached via a long staircase consisting of 33 ramps and 377 steps from the road that leads to the village from the railway station. I therefore recommend using the bus that takes you downtown to the main square. There is a bus stop right outside the station. Greetings from Turin!😊
Yeah, you could comfortably visit those places by train but for hardcore walkers the best experience is visiting all that area on foot. Pretty challenging, but rewarded with beautiful views. Surely it would take 3-4 days at least to do that.
Love takes time. So worth it. Loved your video. Glad for your travel pace at 5-Terre. We'll always remember our very first visit, Fall 2003. We walked nearly the entire Via d'Amore trail then with our 3- night stay in Vernazza. Naturally by now we have vintage "American English brains") and I find your speaking pace a bit too fast. We have been back to 5- Terre several times since '03 😊
Beautiful place. The via del Amore has been closed 10 years ago but might be opened this year. It is not the one you are standing but the one in your background.
Heyy! Omg your tour is super helpful!! I'm hoping to visit Cinque terre next week with my mum (in her late 50s), a surprise girls trip! We fly into Pisa and will be catching a train up. Which village do you think would be the best to stay in? Monterroso or Riomaggiore? I've heard good things about Vernazza too but I'm clueless about where to book. Your insight would be super helpful! xx
Hi, I wouldn't say there's any difference between the towns inside the Cinque Terre area, it's more of a matter of personal preferences. There are some options outside the area if you're looking for cheaper alternatives though (La Spezia or Levanto, for example). I cover more about Cinque Terre on my Patreon, check it out: www.patreon.com/dramaticallyexpatic
I'd recommend staying in La Spezia or Levanto, it's cheaper and there are more options to choose from, then there's a train to visit the towns. I talk more about it in this video: ruclips.net/video/qNKnt1vF14U/видео.html
My wife and I will be in Italy in September, unfortunately this destination is not on the itinerary. We are going to Lugano, riva del Garda, Rome and Milan. You are the reason for our week long stay in Riva dell Garda. Thank you for all you do.
Hi Lisa! I'm sorry to hear you didn't like Cinque Terre - check out my other videos from there too, I'm actually giving tips on how to enjoy this wonderful area ❤️

I will be there in May and although I expect a crowd, I hope it’s not as crowded as the summer. 😊
I'm sure May will still be very pleasant! Enjoy your trip ❤️
We will be there in September. What towns do you recommend we stay at a hotel? Any favorites? Grazie. Ciao

With the houses stacked on top of each other, it makes me wonder how people get their mail?
Italian postal service is legendary 😅
Focaccia! Mmmmm.. If you will visit Puglia you could taste the delicious traditional focaccia pugliese.
It's on my list, so hopefully soon ❤️
Lovely video , how will be the weather be in September
It will be fabulous, still warm but not too hot!

March, and the weather was pretty good!

Lunch? Oh no bread is not Lunch
A very good on-the-go lunch for many people here :D
No. It's not worth the extra money.
If you've been to Santorini, you don't need cinque terre.
actially seemed a bit boring town
So vague about everything. Sigh.
Avoid Cinque Terre. Its not tourist friendly. Research Italy and go somewhere else.
